Bed and Breakfast Le Querciole - Barberino Val d'Elsa

Le Querciole was simply delightful.My only regret was that we only stayed for one night.What a charming place in the picturesque countryside!The breakfast served is also worth mentioning.The meats,cheeses,croissants,cereal,yoghurt,cakes etc were served in the establishment's quaint kitchen.I highly recommend this place!

Le Querciole is a quaint, lovely farmhouse setting with vineyards and grape picking on property. It was more remote than expected--we thought it was in the village/town of Barberino VAl d'Elsa, so surroundings were scarce. Staff very courteous and helpful. Rooms rather drafty and cool during fall evenings and early a.m.

Simple and really excellent, a breathe of country with a nice clear pool in front a breathtaking view!

By the time we arrived at Le Querciole, my husband and I had been to 6 cities in 6 days. We decided to stay put once we arrived at the beautiful stone farmhouse of Roberta and Valeria. This was by far my favorite B & B in one of the most picturesque areas of Italy. The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, forests, and an incredible view of the countryside. Our spacious room was clean, quiet, and shaded by an almond tree surrounded by a large area of green grass. Steps to the pool and a picnic veranda, we spent as much time as we could relaxing and enjoying the property. Breakfast was always delicious with homemade pastries and local meats and cheeses. We will absolutely stay there next time we are in Tuscany. It was the best place ever and our hostesses were awesome!

The Hostess, Roberta, could not be more welcoming or helpful. The room and entire building were charming. We had the use of the spacious sitting room, kitchen, and gardens. This B&B is a little off the beaten path, but the directions to it are excellent. Being in the country, be aware that you will need to drive a few kms to a restaurant for dinner over a winding country road.

We were warmly welcomed by our hostess, Roberta, who is full of energy and ever so helpful. We stayed in the Rose room, which had a gigantic mirror and a vintage armoire. The house, though renovated, is indeed a Tuscan Villa. It produces it's own wine and we bought a few bottles. The price is very good. The villa is located in the middle of a vineyard. The view is breathtaking. We will go back next year, for our honeymoon.

Our Christmas at Le Querciole was magical. Roberta was a wonderful hostess and we hated to leave!
