The host is just amazing, you can stay and talk with him for hours! He is really prepared in giving tips on the surrounding areas with activities to do and things to see. Location is perfect just on the edge of the Chianti region. In the middle of Tuscany so you can have day trips everywhere Siena, Florence and other amazing Tuscan cities. If you fancy bike riding Alessandro will organize your rental for you and you will have bikes ready next mornig.

We've been to 5 B&B in Italy and this was the best we had. The place was clean and located in a quiet surrounding (I haven't seen a public transportation nearby, so take this into account). There's free parking space and 2 close supermarkets (10 minutes drive). Breakfast was great, shower was the best and Alex, our host, was really kind and thoughtful! He helped us with everything we needed and volunteered to call places for us if there was need for a reservation/outdoor activity. If you arrive to Toscany, you should definetly stay at Bosco ai Marzi.

Perfect place to stay a few nights and discover Tuscany. Friendly, helpful host with a peaceful, nice house. Typical breakfast served (juices, coffee, cake, croissant, etc.) in the garden as a good start of the day. Good location, only 2 minutes from the motorway (Linari) between Florence and Siena. If you don't need a pool and view from the top of the hill this is the place highly recommended!

Bosco ai Marzi is difficult to find. Detailed map would be appreciated. TV and WIFI are not operating very well. Efforts could be done on variety of food proposed for breakfast. Very good location to visit Florence, San Gimmignano Voltera, Sienna, etc. accessible within short distances. Close to various good traditional italian restaurants. Prices for a diner can be very reasonnable.

When I came to the B&B, I got a bit worried when I saw the industrial environment, but you don't notice it once you'll arrive. It is a nice house with a marvellous view, great to visit San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and even Pisa and Lucca. Host Alessandro is wonderful. My car had problems and Alessandro was so kind as to go with me to the garage and to make sure my car got fixed within an hour although they said it wasn't possible before the next day! He also checked on me to see if I was okay when a big thunder storm had come up and invited me to melon and prosciutto at his parents place. The breakfast was more than I'm used to in Italy, the shower was great and my room spacious and clean, with view on the hills. Only thing that this place needs is a pool, but Alessandro already made plans for it. I'd like to get back!

The room was very lovely, furnished with taste. A shelf would come very useful in the bathroom. It is great to have a breakfast in front of the house in the morning sun. Very romantic.

Very clean and beautiful rooms in a new build house (traditional tuscan style), excellent relationship between price and quality (best we have seen on our trip) and the hotel owner is a very friendly and helpful man.

It's a lovely countryside place in the middle of the Tuscany. It's very quiet and the surroundings are nice landscapes. You need a car to move: Poggibonsi is 1 km away but it's difficult to go walking because there are no pedestrian paths along the road. The owner Alessandro is very kind and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very accommodating when we needed an extra bed for the first night of our stay. The breakfast was generous and the pastries were excellent. Some of the best I've had.

A friendly family-run enterprise in the grounds of their house. We stayed 4 nights and we were very satisfied. It's basic accommodation, reflected in the price. The breakfast was good coffee + fruit juice, yoghurt, pastries. The location was perfect for us - a short drive to Poggibonsi station which took us to Sienna one way and Florence the other. Free parking at the station. San Gimignano is 15 minutes away. A Sat Nav is essential. The owner/manager was very helpful.

Excellent stay, would highly recommend - the only negative point was the rather poor breakfast - the croissants were fresh but there was no fresh bread, only packet bread on the buffet.

We had a wonderful stay at Bosco Ai Marzi. The owner went above and beyond to help us rent bikes and make our stay easy and enjoyable. The room was spacious and bathroom was clean and remodeled. Meals at the B&B were homemade and breakfast had ample selection. Great Stay!

Alessandro was an excellent host and went out of his way to help me with directions to the surrounding areas for driving. I am very appreciative of his help and would have been extremely lost with out his guidance. He even met us at the local market to guide us back to the bed and breakfast. The next day he led us to a wonderful local walking trail. Thank you so much Alessandro

The B&B was great. The breakfasts were varied and of the local foods. Our host told us about the food and where it was from. Our host was very helpful in making reservations at nearby Tuscan style resturants that many locals eat at as well. Our host helped us with selecting addtional sights to visit, how to get around and generally made our stay even nicer. He spoke some English and used a 'translator' if unsure of the words, he tried very hard to make sure he was communicting well. The one item in the facility list of available items related to the kitchen was inaccurate, The kitchen was for the host to prepare breakfast and not for the general use of the guests.

I was traveling with my wife. Breakfast was fairly good, considering that Italian breakfasts are usually very poor. Visited Colle de Val d'Elsa, a village we did not know, and is really very interesting; it is very close to the hotel.
