We stayed here because we wanted to be close to Palermo airport. The room was small for 3 people but suitable. The owner's son greeted us while the owner was out, but he and his friends were using the common area to watch TV. When the owner came home, he was very nice and made us a great breakfast at 6:30AM the next day before we left, and all we asked for was coffee.

Wonderful experience, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior of the house, we felt we were staying in a little palace, touched by hospitality by the owner,who invited us for wine and biscuit in the evening, and served us delicious breakfast in the morning. We could not think us a better place to stay (and good price) and we will gladly come back.

Guiseppe was amazing!! You couldn't ask for a more attentive and gracious host!! Breakfasts were beautiful and delicious! His assistance with sightseeing... spot on!! And all of this with no English!!!

We did particularly appreciate the warm welcome, the awsome breakfast, and the nice decoration! We really felt at home. If we ever come back in Sicily, we'll certainly choose this hotel again! Many thanks and greetings to Giuseppe and Paola.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Ruffino! Our hosts were delightful and accommodating, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable and our breakfasts couldn't be more perfect (even including olive oil from their family olive groves!). Giuseppe even helped me to locate historical family documents and introduce us to a distant cousin. We wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend Casa Ruffino. Sigh, can't wait to go back!

my wife and i are in our late fortys and we stayed in a suite at casa ruffino and found it beautiful. we got a fantastic genuine welcome from the owner Giuseppie and breakfasts were a wonderful experience.When we arrived on the first morn i told him i would love a coffee and so he brought us down the street to have a coffee at a local gelataria paid for by him.!that is not the normal welcome we are used to. casa ruffino is a lovely place and giuseppie a lovely host.....but he should brush up on his englih...just for conversation.top marks. we would go back again.
