We loved this wonderful B&B. Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a charming village with easy access to Avignon by public transportation, and many interesting sights of its own. Les Jardins de la Livrée has an excellent restaurant. Our host was very helpful in providing suggestions and driving directions to other towns in the area.

We've stayed in Les Jardins de la Livrée for three nights. The staff there, especially Jean-Paul, was very cordial and helpful. The overall stay was great, even though the room was a little bit small. But it was clean and the surrounding environment was both quiet and serene.

Although it was a little work to find Les Jardins over the bridge from Avignon, it was well worth the effort. We would absolutely stay both in Villeneuve again as well as this B & B again! The food was excellent, both for lunch and breakfast.

I stayed 2 nights, one with rain and the other with sun. I took my car and went to Chateau neuf du pape, only 25 km. the other day I relaxed at the pool. In the evening to Avignon because it's quiet in the b&B. Very very nice ambiance, grapes, garden with flowers, old farmhouse.the luxury of parking your car, I rented a bike, A velo blanc which is near the touristoffice. But even a bus to Avignon centre is only 1 euro and takes 8 min and runs upto midnight. I think it,s to far to walk.Villeneuf is also a nice little town with good restaurants. I was there in july, buzy.

We used GPS to find the hotel so didn't have a problem. It is located near food stores so we could easily buy items to eat for dinners while sitting out in the lawn/garden area. We walked to Avignon but there is a bus that also goes there. Really nice extended family owns the hotel.

Loved our stay here! It is in a small village across from Avignon-- about a 20-30 minute walk. The place was very peaceful and quiet. The owner was very concerned with us having a good time, and every morning would provide information to help us decide on our activities for the day. We almost didn't book this hotel due to the reviewer that stated they had a problem with the heating. We had a heater in the room, and had no problem using it. In addition, the food at the restaurant was delicious!! The best we had in France. Highly recommend this B&B.

Excellent value for money. An ideally located spot with facilities and service worthy of a three or even four star hotel!! Would be suitable for couples and families alike. The owners/staff are extremely helpful (although be prepared have some French at hand as their English isn't good). Walking distance from Avignon it makes it an ideal location for exploring the area by foot or car.

I have been satisfied for my staying in this B&B. Good welcoming, the owner was also very helpful to provide me information and suggestions to go to see and visit places around. If you are not to demanding, this is a B&B which I suggest to choose for your stay.

We were delighted with this B&B - everything about it was welcoming, comfortable and of a high standard. The location was excellent. Much more preferable than staying in Avignon, which was just a couple of kms away across the river and easy to get to. The little village / town was quaint and had some great sites of its own. Highly recommend!

The place met my expectations of what Provence would be like. The grapes on our table at breakfast were freshly picked from the vine over the stairs to the dining room. Our mistake was not to stay longer. It would have made an excellent place from which to take day trips with a rental car. We packed our schedule too tightly to have the time to enjoy the pool and the garden.

A charming room in a charming hotel/restaurant with a nice swimming pool, good continental + breakfasts and excellent cuisine suppers. Near the village square and the bus to Avignon. Especially liked it being fig season with fresh figs picked from the tree beside the eating area. Good parking, access and security.

Spent 2 nights in May. Weather cold and damp. Room was unheated when we arrived and owner was reluctant to turn on heat.Turned heat on briefly and then it was off for the rest of our stay. Our clothing did not dry out and the room was cold and uncomfortable. Breakfast was minimum but O.K. Not recommended.

We celebrated 3 birthdays on our last evening there at the restaurant. Our meal was delicious and we had sparklers on our desserts. Jean Paul is a very gracious, helpful and the best kind of host. He rates 5 stars! His brother, Pierre, is the great chef and his lovely parents live onsight. We enjoyed our stay there very much and its proximity to the town square. It was a place we would most definitely stay again! Our only disappointment was that we thought our hostess at dinner could have been more friendly and attentive. (Jean Paul set up the sparklers on our desserts in advance.) She seemed abit cold and we all noticed it.

Although I prefer more upscale accommodations, this family run operation won me over with graciousness and hospitality. The room was clean but basic however it could have used more light. Lovely view of the garden. They are not located in Avignon itself but they have a place to park a car so if you are driving around the area, this would be convenient. Towels were line-dried so they were scratchy and they were changed infrequently. That didn't bother us as we found it to be more environmentally friendly and we don't change our towels at home more than once a week anyway. Breakfast was included - coffee, croissants, baguettes, orange juice - more than adequate. They don't take credit cards! Overall, it was the best value we had during our entire vacation. The family is completely helpful and delightful which more than compensated for any cosmetic deficiencies in the room.

One of the nicest places we've stayed. Villeneuve-les-Avignon is an ideal place to stay to see Avignon or to see Provence. Les Jardins de la Livree is a charming B&B with lots of character, and Jean Paul is a friendly, very helpful host. The garden is beautiful. The restaurant on the premises is very nice with creative dishes using fresh local ingredients. Also, the WiFi connection was faster than we have at home. It took us a while to find the place; we had no map or GPS, but we get lost often! A map on the website would have been helpful. This place is a bargain and a real find. Highly recommended!

This was a great stop. The place was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Other than the small bed we have no complaints. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was very comfortable. Great stop on our trip.

A beautiful place, large spacious airy rooms looking onto a terrace filled with flowers. Host and family are gracious and welcoming, food was wonderful, location is perfect - serene, yet easy to get to Avignon and many other places. Truly a fantastic place. We want to live there, if Jean-Paul would give us a job!

A delightful and very clean B&B in the heart of Ville Neuve which is a stone's throw from Avignon. The breakfast was just lovely and the owners couldn't have been nicer. It was the most comfortable bed we slept in anywhere in France!!!

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Villeneuve and especially enjoyed the small town quality and the country atmosphere of the hotel. This is a very interesting area with a church, abbey and castle hill. We ate one night in town at La Cigale, very good and inexpensive, and one night at the hotel, excellent and a bit more pricewise. It is very easy to cross the river to a parking garage for a visit to Avignon.
