May I give a score higher that 10? After a disastrous start to our holiday (basically, Hertz abandoned us in Parma when our rental car broke down), Anna shepherded us through taking the train to Arezzo (5 km from La Scuderia), taking a taxi to the B&B, and renting another car the next day. She and Sarath were absolutely wonderful. La Scuderia itself is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are of good size, clean, and fairly new, the common areas are neat and provide a friendly atmosphere, and we were able to have breakfast outdoors under an arbor every morning. The grounds are fenced in and pets are welcome (but not in the common areas). From La Scuderia, it is a lovely drive to the Chianti region, Siena, Assisi, Cortona, and Arezzo and a one-hour train ride to Florence. The only drawback is the nearness of the highway, but the noise is not overbearing and cannot be heard if one keeps the windows closed.
