Superb surroundings and excellent hospitality! Priceless to wake up looking out on the canal in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful areas. Very nice and fresh breakfast.

The apartment was beautiful and immaculate. Exactly where we wanted to stay in beautiful Amsterdam with a gorgeous canal view. Everything was perfect in the room and we enjoyed our stay. Our hostess however was not very welcoming. She made it clear upon our arrival that she was very put out to have been waiting an hour. We had sent her our train schedule but didn't have wireless access as we'd planned so had to look up directions to the apartment. It just put us off on the wrong note. She was also very concerned with our checkout time, which we were indeed on schedule for. It wasn't a bad experience in any way, but some graciousness toward weary travelers would have been welcome.
