Despite the difficulties to find our "hotel", my husband and I really enjoyed the concept. This really is not a hotel, but rooms for rent. If you don't mind not having the service a hotel provides, this place is perfect. The location is very convenient, the owners are very kind and helpful, the room as well as the bathroom are spacious, clean and very well appointed. In fact you feel like visiting a friend in Amsterdam; one who cared so that you would find everything in good taste and clean. Warning. if you can not climb stairs this is not your place. Hint. As you arrive in the train station ask a taxi to take you to the flower market.Your room is behind. You will see it from your windodw. And real close there is a wonderful place to eat delicious, fresh food at reasonable prices. The Food Market We would return, no doubt.

Ernesto was MOST helpful with the heavy luggage on those steep steps. He answered all of our numerous questions about the city and was most generous with his time.

We had a wonerful time during our stay at Amsterdam4Holiday. We couldn't have wished for more. We were right in the center of Amsterdam, it was quiet and perfect accommodations. The stairs were steep going up to our room and with all of our luggage, but they carried the bags up and down. We checked out in the morning and left our luggage there until later in the afternoon after we had done some more touring. Excellent place.

The room was spacious enough for 2 and the place was centrally and conveniently located. We were met by a guy who carried our luggage to our room and saw him again one more time to notify him regarding our internet connection. We met the other owner, Ernie who is very nice and helpful, answered all our questions, gave us fruits and water and made sure we have everything we needed. He even walked with us at 5:00 AM to the train station. We appreciated that very much because it was still dark when we left.He has the best attitude and knows how to communicate with people. We stayed in Amsterdam for 3 days which is enough time see Anne Frank's house, Rembrandt museum, Van Gogh's museum and walked around, shopped and see the different canals. We had an excellent time.

We had a very friendly welcome by Ernesto and his partner. The rooms were nice and cosy (we had to move to another room after one night, but that was no problem). The location of the house is excellent - you can see the flower market from your window, and there are tram stations very near. I do really recommend this bed and breakfast!

We had the room with the double bed at the top of the hotel. The bed was SO comfortable couold have stayed there all day! The bathroom was next to our room which we shared with a couple on the floor below us, and we didn't have breakfasts. Ernesto was an amazing host - showing us where to go and leaving us chocolates in our room! Always there to help, we had a fantastic stay and would definatly go back again.

Very nice room, very nice people, very nice breakfast...I'liked my trip in Amsterdam. It was a surprise for my mother's birthday and she was really very happy! My advice : you should go there :-) La chambre était très jolie, propre et spacieuse.

We had an excellent stay. Ernest took very good care of everything and made an excellent breakfast each morning. It only cost 5 Euros a day and included fresh fruit, yogurt, an omlette/pancakes/meat or something cooked each morning plus juice/coffee/tea. Ernest was very helpful with suggestions and a friendly host. Since the bed and breakfast is in an old house downtown, the stairs are very very steap so it would not be good for people who can't easily climb stairs. The location is perfect and within walking distance of all of the major sites.

Every aspect of our stay was fantastic. A great property in a fantastic location. Really what Amsterdam is all about. We could'nt have asked for more and would'nt imagine staying anywhere else. The location would suit all ages and preferences as it has a plethora of activities in very close proximity. If my fiance and myself were to return to Amsterdam, this would certainly be our choice of accomodation.

Room is nice decorated with king size bed. Washroom is bright and clean. Owners are nice and helpful. Full English breakfast with fruit! I will visit them again for my next trip to Amsterdam. However, check maps in detail before going and pay attention to small while searching for the place. Easy to skip it's door.

The top floor bed is soooo comfy. The host has got it right even though he is new running the bed and breakfast. The breakfasts are great and fulfilling. The stairs are not bad either for Amsterdam. The host is approachable and will try and help you if he can.
