Bed and Breakfast Residenza Luce - Amalfi

Excellent! Oct 2009 After travelling from Rome, Siena, Florence, Cinque Terre, spent 3 nights in Amalfi. All accommodations were great, but Rezindenza Luce was by far the best. The photos on their web site are just as it is. The glass doors in the rooms open onto your balcony. Warm, friendly, family run, makes you feel welcome and "at home" away from home. Fresh croissants, cappuccino and friendly conversations at breakfast. Homemade food at l'abside wine bar. And, homemade gelato. Vincenzo and Giovanna, grazie!

Vincenzo greeted us with a warm smile on our arrival. The rooms were clean, spacious and very nice. The breakfast area was small but accomodating and fine for the few rooms they have. Alexandria was friendly, extremely helpful and spoke fluent english. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. This is a small B&B that works hard to provide quality service to the customers. We had a very nice stay.

I travelled in a large group to the area of Amalfi as part of a university field trip and found the Residenza Luce to be very welcoming. The hotelier, Vincenzo, was very hospitable and welcoming and was happy to help at any given opportunity. The rooms were amazing with flat screen tvs with many international tv stations. The en suite was very clean and given that the hotel was only recently opened, had been maintained excellently. The breakfast provided was delicious and the service again was excellent. On the whole, residents of Amalfi are very welcoming to British Tourists and given the experience of the hospitality, I would definately recommend a stay in Residenza Luce.

This place is great. The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with care shown to every last detail. And as if it needed anything else to entice you, the little square where they serve breakfast is wonderful. We'd go out and about every day but always end up back at the little square for drinks and snacks. If you are visiting Amalfi then you should stay at this place and experience genuine quality and value.

Fantastic quality of room with really impressive design features and attention to detail - very good value for money. Excellent cafe downstairs also run by the hotel owner, Vincenzo. Perfect location just off the main square. I can't recommend this property highly enough and the photos on the website do not do it justice at all - it's miles better!
