We were pleasantly surprised with B&B Valencia. The view from our private balcony was breathtaking, the location just perfect- quiet yet seaside and a short stroll to town, and the feeling of a home atmosphere was always present. But what made this stay truly special was the incredible and inspiring hostess and owner, Teresa. A truly fascinating woman with excellent English, Teresa was like a mother to us. She took care of us as if we were her children, providing local advice, some history and inspiration as an entrepreneur during her Golden Years. We were quite emotional when having to leave and we would absolutely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed two lovely nights and an excellent stay with Mrs Balzani, who is a most charming lady with a great sense of organization, pleasant conversation (she is totally fluent in English) and the breakfast was fine, with plenty of fresh fruit. Her flat at the top of a 4-storey building with a lift looks out onto the wonderful bay and is very peaceful. We recommend warmly. We only wish we had stayed a lot longer.

Very nice B&B with big terrace and sea view. Plenty of room and private atmosphere. The hostess is a very friendly and distiguished lady which gives you the feeling of being at home in Alghero. The historic city center is only a ten minutes stroll away on the seaside promenade. Absolutely recommendable!

This is very nice B&B: Room, flat, location, Alghero itself but the best part is an owner: very friendly English speaking older lady. Helpful and easygoing but not imposing herself in the same time. For someone with young child - best choice!

In this B&B the large room is on the 4th floor (the penthouse). It is very quiet, and from the terrace we had a view on the surrounding area (buildings) and on the sea. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to a nearby small beach, and less than half an hour to reach the old city. The 'lady of the house' is open, generous and helpful. The TV in the room didn't work due to recent changes of the local cable network; although the hostess offered to have it fixed asap we declined and chose to have a relaxing week without TV.
