Bed and Breakfast La Riviera - Alghero

Very good buy to the price. The woman was extremely kind - but speaks no English. Very good with kitchen and very fine bathrooms. No cheese and good bread - buy it in the Super Markato and have it in the kitchen. Alway bottles with cold water. Close to the old town and beach (5 / 10 minutes). Some noice from the street, if you get that room.

The place is overall ok for a short stay but for a longer stay i would not recommend it because the rooms are not cleaned daily. the owner is very friendly and very welcoming.

Just a little problem, it was very cold in the room during the day.

Excellent hostage to go if you are a young couple who want to visit Alghero and other cities around Sardinia. Pascualina Demontis is a very good person and she will help you with all of your problems. Breakfast is like a buffet in a hostel and bedrooms and bathrooms are like your own house. I recommend you to rent a car, its the best way to move out from Alghero and if you get a Fiat Panda is not to much expensive, 150€ for 3 days I paid. We were on holidays!! Don´t think in the money!! Enjoy!!

The welcoming was OK, the room and the bed were Ok as well, toilet and shower were poor and outside and could be used by other people as well. The worst thing was the traffic noise that starts around 5 in the morning ... Fortunately we stayed only 1 night.

Die Zimmerwirtin ist sehr nett, allerdings spricht sie kein Englisch, das war etwas schwierig. Die Lage des Zimmers ist gut, ca 10 Minuten bis zur Altstadt. Zimmer und Bad groß und sauber. Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Nichts frisches, nur abgepackte klebrige süße Teilchen, und Marmelade. Kaffee mußte man sich selbst kochen, war aber kein Problem. Denke das ist in Italien halt so. Es gab aber immer reichlich Mineralwasser im Kühlschrank, da konnte man sich immer bedienen, oder eigene Sachen hineinstellen. Das größte Problem war die Klimaanlage. Die gibt es aber leider nur im Flur und im Küchenbereich. Im Zimmer waren 2 Standventilatoren die aber nicht viel gebracht haben. Fazit: Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zu empfehlen, allerdings nicht im Hochsommer

Delizioso e molto accogliente...consigliatissimo!

Absolutely advisable! It is an appartment in a regular residential area just a few minutes to walk to the center of alghero. There is a very private and confidential atmosphere, you feel not like a tourist - more than a citizen of alghero. Very good starting point for excursions with the public bus. A few words to speak italy are not recommended but it would be a little bit easier to talk... ;-)

Il B&B è pessimo.non mi è stata fatta la ricevuta, la signora è un gran maleducata e offensiva mi ha detto che sono un' italiana rompipalle, ha voluto i soldi in anticipo perchè non si fidava, ma la ricevuta non l'ha rilasciata, la colazione non è mai stata preparata, il letto e le pulizie mai fatte,nell'armadio e nei cassetti c'era pieno di vestiti in modo tale che ho dovuto lasciarli nella borsa,la camera era un santuario pieno di statue di Cristi, Madonne, immagini di Santi e lumini, ... sono molto delusa...e i giudizi positivi che avete chi li ha rilascati? nel bagno c'erano gli oggetti di un bagno di casa, spazzole con capelli,supposte,saponette consumate ed altro ancora..il che non fa piacere per appoggiare la propria roba

Se trata de un piso. Las habitaciones y los baños compartidos son anchos. El desayuno es correcto, self-service. Excelente el trato con la señora Paulina, habla alguerès.

Amazing location. Kitchen that you can use. Beautiful apartment. And the lady who owns the place is hilarious and an absolute sweetheart!

I arrived at the building to find that it's an apartment block and the name "La Riviera" did not appear on any doorbell. The photograph shown was of the whole building so that didn't help. I rand a possible bell and was allowed in and told to go to the 1st floor. Got there and nobody home. I got the mobile number and called the owner. Despite a big language barrier, she arrived in a few minutes to let me in and show me around. Then it turned out her son was in the flat and just hadn't bothered to let me in! However, once in, I had the run of the house and could make whatever I liked for breakfast. I'm quite happy with that arrangement, so on that and the price alone, I'd stay here again. Word of warning to anyone using the "en suite" matrimonial room... the bathroom is still across the hall... it just means they have 2 bathrooms and the couple can use one while other guests use the other!
