Bed and Breakfast Sabbia d'Oro - San Leone, Agrigento

Breakfast on the roof terrace was a delight.

Very nice and clean B&B. Good location, close to the beach. Small private house with 5 rooms and nice private garden. Best B&B in Sicily what I saw.

Seaside town with traffic and very very difficolt to find parking. Room with balcony overlooking the orange tree flowering Great.So ear plags are a suggestion. Very beautiful view of the sea on the terrazza for breackfast. No elevator

The B&B is situated in front of the sea, but a small builing spoils the view a little. The retaurant pizzeria nearby is not recommandable.

San leone is an excellent location for a stay in the Agrigento area without the difficulty of navigating into the city. The beachside location was lovely and it was easy to travel to the main tourist sites. The Sabbio d'Oro is across the road from the beach, with many small fast food outlets across the road and next to a great restaurant with terrace that we ate at every night; it was close, had good value for money and the food was excellent.

Perfect Hotel to combine Beach and a visit the Valley of the Temples. Nice Breakfast with seaview.

Very comfortable room, only a bit noisy as we stayed there during the weekend. Excellent restaurant nearby (Capriccio del Mare). Would come back, butr not during the high season.

Better map needed for foreigners travelling independantly. We had the very big front room overlooking the sea, free full access to internet, great seafood dinner at nearby restaurant. It's on a noisy street. We went off season.

The B&B faced the beach and was close to the bus stop (for the Valle dei Templi and Agrigento Centrale train station). It was great waking up to see the beautiful azure ocean. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean.

My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Sicily, two of which were spent in Agrigento's lido San Leone. Sabbia d'Oro is situated a few metres away from the beach. It is set in a goood area with plenty of restaurants from which to choose from and close to public transport stops. Not all the rooms have a seaview but the one we where in had (not unobstucted) very enjoyable views of the sea and also had a very spacious balcony. The balcony compensated for the rather small bedroom. The bathroom was of a good size and clean on arrival. The host was nice and polite but the chambermaid forgot to service our room. I must also say that the breakfast was a let-down. I was not expecting anything special but it could not have been poorer. Still, considering the location (also very close to the Valley of the Temples) and the cleanliness, we are satisfied with our choice and would recommend it to those looking for a low- budget accomodation.

We were surprized about the high quality of the B&B, and we shall recommend it to mour friends.

We stayed at the B&B Sabbia d'oro for one night.The room was very spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. We had access to a private terrace overlooking the sea.Although the street below was very busy, being a Sunday evening when the whole town was doing the passagiata, we were not aware of the noise in the room.We had breakfast on the terrace downstairs, surrounded by flowers and shrubs!San Leone is not worth a visit but it is very close to the Valle dei templi which is a MUST.

Avoid saturday & sunday nights because of very noisy young fest nearby

Das Sabbia d'Oro ist in zentraler Lage in San Leone gelegen, weshalb es abends wegen einiger Bars in der Umgebung etwas laut sein kann. Dafür kann man sich - wenn man will - aber auch sofort ins Nachtleben stürzen. Agrigent mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist leicht zu erreichen. Der Empfang im Sabbia d'Oro war sehr nett, auch der Service war gut. In seiner Preisklasse ist das Haus sicherlich einer der besten Möglichkeiten in der Nähe von Agrigent unterzukommen.

Nice place to stay, room with sea-view and very proche to the Valley of the Temples

Through description and photos it is not clear, that B&B is located directly at the main street along beach. Surrounding area seems to be meeting point for all young people from Agrigent and San Leone. Rooms seem to be quite different - we were the lucky ones. Service and welcome was not as good as expected. Breakfast was typical italian.

Breadfeast is only sweety, no choice for diabetic !

Good B&B for a good price. Near to the Temple Valley.
