A truly wonderful place with a really high standard of accommodation, well located, with a beautiful terrace, and where we got a warm welcome. the breakfast wasn't up to the high standard offered by the place, but that was a very minor disappointment. i would definitely go back and recommend this place to others.

The staff are very friendly - there are two flights of stairs to the 1st floor and my friend was having a hard time getting her suitcase up - the staff immediately went down to help her without asking. We stayed there for 2 nights and the shower in the first room broke (no water...) in the morning, the staff immediately changed us to another room (the one some commented as noisy) - but we absolutely love the second room (the first room is nice too). It is very spacious and got a small balcony where you can get a bit of sea view. There is a bar right down stair but we cannot hear anything once we shut the window. A lovely bakery just a few shops down and a great restaurant right opposite. The best thing is the rooftop - it was cool and breezy at night, so we brought our dinner and drinks there for star gazing. Breakfast is very nice too. Reception of wi-fi in rooms was not very consistent but hey, it is free!

Its a B and B. Clean, quiet, staf very helpful. In center of old town. Adequate breakfasts on rooftop. Nice views of valley of temples. Good buy for price. Note- must walkup long stairway and another one to rooms-ok for us. Parking in center a few blocks away-free or very reasonable. If coming to Agrigento should rent compact or smaller as streets narrow in old town and elsewhere and GPS sometimes takes you to places which will test your driving skills--my wife said my experience as NYC Taxi driver as a student came in handy. Agrigento is central to a number of places for touring and hiking. good for a few days

During our stay was "broken" POS terminal, so we had to pay cash. B&B not suitable for people with any kind of "movement" disability as staircase is really steep and narow.

Hotel is a nicely restored boutique at the start of the pedestrian zone in the center of Agrigento. This makes it a little difficult to find, but the staff will help you with parking and such. The bathroom in our room was not constructed with much quality. The toilet was not fastened to the floor and the shower did not drain. At check out the credit card machine was not available and we had to pay with cash.

This is an excellent place to stay when in Agrigento. The owner and the staff went out of their way to inform us of restaurants, art exhibits, parking and travel information. They helped unload and load our luggage from the car and carried up and down the stairs for us. Marco who was working at the front desk jumped in the car with my husband and guided him to the parking, which would have been very difficult to find, due to traffic and one way streets. Breakfast with local specialities was wonderful and most of all we enjoyed the roof top garden with an excellent view of several of the temples, which were lighted up at night. We wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

Hotel is well located in the center of the city. Room was clean, big and with and adequate bathroom. It had a comfortable queen bed and a sofa. The room we had was located on a third floor in front of the main commercial street and could be somewhat noisy in the night. It has double doors and that eliminated the noise. Continental breakfast is good with excellent coffee. It is serve on the open terrace at the top floor with excellent views of the city and sorroundings. Personnel is very courteous. Parking is available near by for 6 euro/night.Street parking is also available.

Stayed her for two nights on 3/10/09 and 4/10/09. Paid 70 Euros per room per night including breakfast. This is a very central location, on the main street Via Atenea and just off the main square, very close to the train station and a short walk from the bus station. It is a small bed & breakfast with (around) 5 rooms in an attractive old building, apparently recently converted into accommodation. Our room was large, modern and attractively decorated with distinct bold colours. There were two balconies overlooking the street. It was very noisy outside at night, but the windows have excellent soundproofing, and there was very efficient air conditioning in the room. Breakfast is served in a small room on the top floor, (probably outside in warmer weather). It was a quite small selection, but a high quality and included Sicilian specialities and delicious cakes. There is a terrace on the roof with distant views to the temples (illuminated at night) and the sea beyond. The terrace has comfortable chairs and is a perfect place for relaxing after a day’s sightseeing, and would no doubt be perfect on a hot day. The owner was friendly and helpful, (but usually not on site), and catered well with our unexpectedly late arrival following travel delays and also an early departure on the day we left. As a minor point, there was no table in the room, which there easily could be in a room this size. The Valley of the Temples is around two miles away, and the Archaeological Museum is en route halfway. Both are impressive and need a full day to do both. There is a frequent local bus service. The coast is about four miles, again with a local bus, but we did not have time to go there.
