B&B Tranquillo - Agrigento

I stayed at B&B Tranquillo for two nights in October. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, with hospitality that went above and beyond anything I had ever expected. This B&B is very close to the train station, and a 10 minute walk from the bus station. When facing the train station, be sure to walk on the left side to find the B&B, or call the numbers provided when you arrive. The entire Tranquillo family went out of their way to make my stay simply perfect. They made themselves available to me whenever I needed anything. They also picked up fresh sicilian delicacies for me each morning, in addition to a stocked fridge for basic breakfast items. The room I stayed in was recently renovated, with all new furniture and beds. There was a double bed, as well as a single, so this room is perfect for a small family, or also three people travelling together. WIFI worked perfectly. When I arrived, they presented me with a gift - a tour guide book of the Valley of the Temples, which was useful for visiting the temples, as well as a great souvenir I took home with me. When I was leaving, Pino drove me to the bus station and also packed a sicilian lunch for me to enjoy on the bus! This was like staying with family, and you don't need to think twice about booking with B&B Tranquillo! As a side note, I left a leather jacket in my room and they are graciously arranging to have it shipped back to me in Canada! I am forever grateful to the Tranquillo family, and would easily stay there again when I return to Agrigento!
