Bed & Breakfast Oceano&Mare - San Leone, Agrigento

The villa is nice and comfortable; For the buffet breakfast there were offered flakes, milk, fruits, juices, cookies, chocolate, water. Rooms were spacious and clean enough. If you go there as a pedestrian, the access to the villa is extremely poor, there is a large virgin terrain in front that you have to cross to reach the bus station in the main street (the sea cliff); don't use this crossing while bad weather, as if it rains you might be flooded, as we were, me and my wife. There is also a small path behind the villa for small cars or scooters. Overall it might be a nice experience and the landscape view is beautiful as well.

very good adress, very friendly,spacious room and great see view. Location is exellent to visit "valley of temple" prices of room is very low for this confort.

Room clean, owner very welcoming. Seen problems with breakfast, which is "self service" style. Small kitchen and only 2-3 people at a time can prepare breakfast.

Very good location both for going to the beach on which the B&B has a nice view and for visiting the Valle dei Templi which is 5-10 min away by car without having to go through or near Agrigento. Clean and nice room, perfect for short stays of 2-3 nights. 'Self-service' breakfast with espresso machine, milk, tea, cornetti, bread, butter and jam: simple but good and plenty to eat and flexible on time. Very good value for money!

The place was quite difficult to access- at the end of a narrow street down a very steep hill. Difficult to get in and out of. The walk to the beach was down the hill and through a field. There were trailers next to the field draining their sewage into the field, so we had to watch where we walked. At the end of the field, it was necessary to climb over branches and a guard rail and cross the busy street to reach the beach. The beach was very dirty on the day of our stay- there was trash everywhere, in and out of the water. In the morning, however, they were out cleaning the beaches. Breakfast consisted of a basket of packaged rolls and toasts, marmalade, milk, coffee, and juices. It was adequate. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was wonderful. Unfortunately, it did not cool the living room, so one child slept on the floor of the bedroom rather than on the sofa bed in the living room. The view from the balcony was very nice. The young man who greated us was very helpful. It was a quite a drive to get to a restaurant- slow in summer beach traffic. Parking is also difficult to find in the towns when you get there.

Good spacious apartments. Few steps to the sea. Far from city center. Very steep street (more 60 grades - difficult even for car). Nice Salve (Salvatore). At all may be good but... black beetles (scarafaggii). Also mosquitos (zanzare). And no means both for first and second... Br-r-r One night is enough.

Well after a rough start, our stay was very comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the actual location of Oceano & Mare was not available due to a maintenance problem. The problem occurred when we arrived to find no one there. A wondeful neighbor (who spoke no english!) got us in touch with the owner who came to get us and we followed to another apartment hotel. The delay cost us an hour but the substitue apartment hotel was very comfortable with a nice patio view of the Mediterranean. The french style breakfast was terrific and a nice change from the Italian breakfasts we had gotten used to.

The pictures represent the reality of the rooms, but as the flat is located at the ground floor the see view is limited. Wide rooms. Beautifull beach. I recommand this place !

Really enjoyed the welcoming hospitaly that the staff offered as well as the location...near the sea. Good restaurants nearby and less than half an hour from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento

Excellent place to stay. Welcoming owner. Great rooms. Very close (5 minute walk) to superb beach. Price very good. If I had to find a problem, it would be that there are no shops etc within walking distance ie you definetely need a car.

Too far from any public environment (shops, restaurants) - about 5 km to drive by car. Located deeply in suburbs. The beach is 300 meters across the field. Clean and quiet place.

Sin duda recomiendo el B&B oceano mare,queda cerca tanto del valle de los templos como de agrigento (si se va en coche).Tiene unas vistas a lo que es toda la playa del pueblo de S.Leone.Inconvenientes:la entrada a la calle es dificil de encontrar,sin buen asfalto,bacheada y con pendiente pronunciada;no dispone de aire acondicionado,pero te facilitan 2 ventiladores para poder mover por la casa.Agradable conversación con el padre y el hijo que viven en la misma finca...Preguntar al padre por sitios de interés, sin duda recomendará los mejores para visitar "PIAZZA ARMERINA"
