Bed and Breakfast Nido Verde - Agerola

What a gem! Located in a "village" and close to the start of many hiking trails, Nido Verde is just the place for hikers and people who want to experience something other than touristy Italy. Roberto was such a helpful host.

My husband and I wanted to stay in one of the smaller towns in the Amalfi coast region, and explore from there. Nido Verde more than exceeded our expectations. We saw the other reviews of 10 and appreciated it even more after our stay. The rooms are clean, modest, and comfortable - perfect for sightseeing during the day. What made the stay so memorable was Roberto's hospitality. He made us feel like we were guests in his home, not just hotel guests. We met his parents, who were adorable, and he treated us to a little bit of homemade "limoncello" his mom made. He even walked us into town to the trailhead of a hike he recommended, and gave us great restaurant suggestions. When we were heading into Napoli for the day, he told us the best places to go to shop, and we found some great deals. We felt like we really got to experience a bit of small-town southern Italian warmth and culture, from Roberto, as well as several townspeople that were friendly to us. We are glad we stayed in Agerola and even happier we chose Nido Verde.
