Bed and Breakfast Nido degli Dei - San Lazzaro, Agerola

We´ve spent just one night at the hotel. We had a difficult trip to get the hotel because it was a incrediable fog in the road. It was end of March and we suppose it is not the typical weather of the region. The dinner was very good. Ms Gabriela was fantastic showing us the surrondings in the next morning. It is a place to came back and we recommend to everybody.

Gabriella was a fantastic hostess and was always helpful. Views were great. Breakfast was served promptly. Room was clean and spacious.

We stayed in Nido degli Dei for one night. The pictures on the web cannot describe the beauty of the place, with a carefully taken after little garden and a terrace with an amasing view. The rooms are simple but very clean and definitely great value for money. We were also received by great hosts who made our short stay even more pleasant. We got good tips about where to eat and what to see. The restaurant we were recommended has all sorts of Italian food: risotto, pasta, pizza, meat, fish,... Very well prepared and at very decent prices). Only one small drawback. If you get car sick, the trip to Agerola can be hard. It took us 1,30h to get there from Cetara on a very winding road.

very reasonable price for a new nice clean and comfortable room. A plus the TV with full access to all sky channels. There was no internet connection on the room ... a wireless wouldn't be difficult and costly to install and would be a good plus...

The owner and her daughter were the nicest people. We discussed our daily agenda with them, and they gave us much needed advice and tips to help us enjoy our vacation. San Lazzaro is a small village, but it has several nice restaurants. SITA buses service the area which makes the location convenient. We really preferred the quietness of San Lazzaro over the busyness of the Amalfi coastal towns. The views were stunning from Nido Degli Dei.

Loved our stay at Nido degli Dei. The view from the patio was just as impressive in person than in the photos; the ideal place for a glass of wine and fresh bread with Parmesan and olive oil bought at the local store. The road up the mountain to and from the place is a bit of a challenge if you're not use to driving in Italy. But the quietness once there makes it worthwhile. Cappucino and breakfast were delicious. The town is sweet with a good restaurant recommended by Maria, who was very welcoming. It is not a "tourist" town with tons of amenities but was exactly what we wanted ... something far away from the maddening crowds of the Amalfi Coast but with all the picturesque beauty of the area. Perfect!

This is a very nice place! It was further from Amalfi and the rest of the Amalficoast then we thought when we booked it, the busride was long and the walk down to the coast took at least one hour. But, the service was great! The lady in the reception actually drove us to the bancomat which was about 3-4 km away from the resort, because we did not have cash to pay for our room. That's what I call excellent service! Nice breakfast, and they also serve it when it suits YOU - no problem, you'll get breakfast whenever you wake up :) Lovely place, cheap place. Also nice and very cheap restaurants in San Lazzaro. I would recommend it, but if you are going to really experience the Amalfi coast you should pay a bit more and stay in f.ex. Amalfi.

A little trouble finding the entry to the property as our GPS took us to the back. Very welcoming owners once we got in. Very spacious rooms. beautiful views from the large balcony.Fab location to go walking in the magnificient countryside around. Had great pizzas in the non touristy village restaurant.
