Named after the popular Donauzentrum shopping centre, the Austria Trend Hotel Donauzentrum Vienna, close to the United Nation Offices and to the Danube Island, is a comfortable 4 star accommodation, which combines Austrian charm and international comfort with first class service.

The room (No 438) was spacious and clean. I thought I had booked a room with a double bed but it only had 2 singles which was a disappointment. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there was a minibar and safe. The bathroom was fine, clean with a good shower. The dining room on the 2nd floor is large and welcoming, with a wide variety of breakfast foods, including English breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. The sauna/jacuzzi room on the top floor is very nice, although the jacuzzi itself is a little small. The price compared very well with other hotels in Vienna and I would recommend it of you don't mind travelling to the city centre and don't mind a view of rather drab modern concrete buildings.

Austria Trend Hotel Donauzentrum was very clean and the breakfast was good. I stayed there for a conference at the Austria Center, and it was convienently located - only 2 train stops away. It's in the opposite direction of the center of town however, so it wasn't very close to restaurants or other areas, and the train stops running at 12:30am.

From the A2 Südautobahn motorway, follow the northbound directions and enter the A23 road. Take exit Kagran and follow the indications to Donauzentrum and then to the hotel.
By train
Westbahnhof and Südbahnhof railway stations are 10 km from the hotel and connected by underground line U1 and the Kagran stop.
By airplane
Vienna airport is 25 km from the hotel. Take the airport shuttle bus to Westbahnhof railway station and continue by underground.
