Hotel Austria Trend Europa - Graz

We were travelling with our 5 mth old son and just needed to stop over somewhere between Slovenia and Vienna. We booked only on the morning of our stay and as we were looking for the hotel were a bit concerned as it is in the area near the train station and not very welcoming! Once we found it and got inside though we were extremely impressed. Our room was luxurious with a huge comfortable bed, espresso coffee machine (free) in the foyer for the floor, large and well equipped bathroom and great storage. THe breakfast was excellent!! Although the hotel parking was 9.60 euros for the night. Overall a pleasant suprise and good value for money.

Das Hotel am Bahnhofsplatz war vom Bahnhofsausgang etwas schwer zu finden, da der Name nur über dem Eingang, also recht tief, in hellgrauer Schrift auf etwas dunklerem Grau angebracht ist. So ging ich einmal um den Häuserblock um das Hotel zu finden, das ich gerade umrundet hatte.

This hotel was probably the highlight of our trip. We believe that the pictures on the site undersell the true quality of this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is good, and a short trip on the tram around the corner takes you straight into the action. The staff were also very nice and just excellent overall. Don't miss out on the breakfast, it was fresh and there was a good variety. If this is the 'Austria Trend' quality, then we will stay at your other hotels next time!

Staf very friendly, professional and very informative. Room(mini suite) was very spacious, clean but the air conditioning was not cooling enough. Location is good about 20-25 minutes walking from center downtown but you can catch a tram and bus just around the corner a few steps away. Parking garage below at a reasonable price under $10.00 daily. Across the street from the train station (a bit of noise and traffic) and with an undergrouind shopping area with supermarket and stores for convenience.
