The Goldenes Schiff Hotel, newly renovated in 2003, is located in the center of Bad Ischl, overlooking the river Traun. While staying in this hotel, enjoy the cultural, spa and sports facilities of the town as well as the unique mountains and lakes of the Salzkammergut region.
Guests can also take advantage of the ski facilities just minutes away or relax in the health center and after that, have a drink on their terrace with views of the river.
The front desk is staffed around the clock, and our personnel is always at hand to help and assist guest in whatever way possible. There also is an Internet point available in the comfortable lounge area.

How to reach Hotel Goldenes Schiff
By car
From the airport in Salzburg, take the expressway A1 in the direction of Vienna. Exit at Thalgau (after about 25 km), then follow the signs for Fuschl, St. Gilgen and eventually Bad Ischl.
Once in Bad Ischl, take the first exit, directly to the town center, drive past the McDonald's restaurant and then straight before the bridge turns to the left. Drive another 100 metres, and you will see the hotel.
