Arcotel Allegra - Zagreb

This is a big resort hotel, but the room is not sound proof. We can hear the band playing at the lobby clearly and loudly at the hotel lobby until 11.00pm. While the music was good, it became ennoying when all I want was a rest after a day of exhausting sight seeing. Worst still, the air-con was allegedly out of order and it was very hot in the room. There is a ceiling fan which helps but it is also extremely noisy like a bus. Overall, it was a night of nightmare & torture. The breakfast however is very good with lots of varieties.

The Arcotel Allegra is very convenient for both the bus and rail stations. A tram stop right outside gives access to allother parts of the town. If it's your first visit to Zagreb, prepare yourself for plenty of stops in outstanding patisseries and the attendant increase in your weight!

Lovely hotel very close to train station. Breakfast is varied and tasty. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel!

If you can choose a quiet room,not to the side of the railway station

It is very close to the tram station and ca.10min.from central station on foot. There is cinema and kiosk next to the Hotel. The room is clean, breakfast is good as well. The Hotel staff is helpful and friendly.

A great hotel for a short stay. Located in the centre of Zagreb. Unfortunately quite pricy, but it is difficult to find cheap accommodation in Zagreb these days.

Nuevo, confortable, amplios espacios, a 10 minutos andando del centro, con 3 paradas tranvia que llevan al centro, a cinco minutos de la estación de bus.Buena relación calidad-precio.Personal eficaz, pero no simpático. TV-DVD, enchufes y mesa amplia para poder conectar todo y trabajar. Ocio o trabajo perfecto.

A very nice design hotel. The rooms are spacious and the interior is a bit state of the art. Its located outside city center (15 minutes walk). Breakfast is good and the staff helpfull.

5 minutes from the train station and nice rooms. The breakfast was good too.

The hotel did not want to accept the rate as booked on Venere. according to them the rate was enetered into their reservation system by mistake. they were asking for 14 euro more per night but gave up after lengthly discussion. this is a fairly good hotel in not so interesting area of the town. overlooking railway tracks. not so close to the old town. smoking allowed in the lobby and in the computer area. it's difficult to be there for more than 3 minutes. good breakfast.

This hotel is very good value & I think it would be twice the price or more in other European cities eg London. The wellness area on the top floor is a cool place to chill out. The bar seems to be a popular place for the locals to hang out which adds atmosphere. We used the hotel on our return to Zagreb for a bit more last minute luxury!

This is one of the nicest hotels in which I have ever stayed. The hotel had a fitness center on the top floor which was under repair during our stay. Also, when we went to check-out at noon, there was a long line - and only one agent at the front desk. We missed the bus to the airport, but were saved by a very nice taxi driver. The breafast buffet was one of the nicest I have seen in Europe. The room was large, had good, quiet A/C, and a firm matress. Great location, and an easy walk from the train station. I highly recommend this property.

A modern, delightfully decorated and delivered hotel. The friendly service was exceptional.
