Arcotel Moser-Verdino - Klagenfurt

A very pleasant and welcoming hotel.The main problem is the extra 12 Euro charge for breakfast. And much street noise which is not the hotels fault.

Great hotel, excellent location. Rooms are comfortable, and spacious. Hotel is right in the city centre, in a classic austro hungarian style building. Warm experience. There are only 4 parking spaces available at the hotel, very difficult to park in these spaces. Alternatively short term parking is available around the hotel.

Amazing location, right in the centre of town. Charming red building with traditional austro-hungarian feel. Rooms are decent and very comfortable. Would recommend this for any short stay, reliable and comfortable. Consistent with any european 4 star hotel. There are 4 free parking spaces in front of the hotel, otherwise plenty of garages nearby at 13 euros per night.

Absolutely spotless experience with this hotel! I would recommend a stay for cross-Europe travellers who wish high accommodation standard for medium price. Klagenfurt was overall a warmhearted and cosy city.

High standard quality hotel vs reasonable price very good location

Only stayed overnight in Klagenfurt before continuing with our trip. The hotel staff were friendly, very knoweldgable and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. All staff spoke excellent English. Good bar/cafe in the hotel, excellent large rooms with good facilities.

Very nice hotel, excellent staff, savoury breakfast. Allow me to give a suggestion: price is cheap, it could be a little more expensive but including breakfast...

This hotel is directly in the center of the shopping district and all other local attractions. Parking is unavailable, except in the public garage which is quite a distance away and difficult to reach with suitcases. The drop-off area at the hotel is totally inadequate. While this location is good during the day, it means dealing with a lot of noise during the night, because windows have to be kept open for lack of air-conditioning. Also, the breakfast buffet in the adjoining cafe is rather poor and disorganized. The staff in the cafe are rather unfriendly, because breakfast guests seem to be a burden to them, since they also serve the other guests in the cafe. The hotel staff are much nicer and helpful.

My wife and I stayed and booked on short notice. The room (actually more a small suite) was fine and spacious. Personnel were accomodating, location excellent. Slight negatives were the difficulty finding the hotel in the middle of a down-town one way puzzle. Parking was nearby under the platz and cost another ~ 14 Euro/day. As with most Austrian restaurants there was too much second hand smoke even in the no smoking section. Overall value is good; a bit upscale and worth the extra money. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the minor exceptions noted.
