Guests all seemed to be tourists doing the 'wine route' We enjoyed the peace and quiet.our room was comfortable but we probably would not recommend the hotel due to its lack of a bar.We stayed for 4 nights.Breakfast was poor.Though there was no restaurant, this was not too disasterous as there were plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We loved Eguisheim.

The hotel was nice and quaint. The rooms were comfortable and the area was beautiful. The only thing I might change would be to add an outdoor seating area. The weather was so nice, we would have liked to have sat outside.

Very nice hotel, good rooms with indoor swimming pool, off road parking and an easy 5min walk to a really beautiful village. Worth a stop here if you are travelling. Eguisheim is amazing a very pretty village with lots of wine outlets.

It is not clear that breakfast is to pay separately. All hotel offer B&B, why afford a different service offer? This get only confusion!

Room ws fairly standard. Breakfast @ 11 Euro makes real price a bit high. Location is quiet, but about a 5 block walk to the small village.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Saint Hubert Hotel in Eguisheim - it was absolutely beautiful; quiet; clean; efficient; close to surrounding areas that also offered wonderful tourist attractions, but the village of Eguisheim was exquisite, and one of the nicest places that we spent time in. I would clearly return to this hotel, and thank the staff very much for their helpfulness and kindness. Linda fischer

Whilst we were only at St Hubert’s for two nights we would gladly recommend this establishment. Henri met us and whilst his English is limited and our German and French even more limited we were made very welcome. We had travelled down on our motorbikes and Henri offered us his own drive way to park our bikes, which gave us a high sense of security. Our room was perfect, and whilst we only had a bath and no shower, the room was large in size and the patio over looking the vineyards far out weighed any shower. Enjoy your stay, we did.

Charming hotel located in the middle of grapevines a short walk from the village of Eguisheim. Our room was small, but comfortable, with a small outdoor area facing the grapes. The breakfast was excellent and included in the room rate. Eguisheim is an excellent base for exploring Alsace, with charm waiting around every corner, great restaurants and wine-tasting opportunities. We definitely want to return to this hotel.

Location and hotel itself have been very nice. Because of the hospitallity we felt very well. The Hotel gave us the recommendation to have dinner in the restaurant Vieux Porche nearby. This was ecxellent.

The village of Eguisheim was delightful and there were a number of good restaurants to choose from. It was easy to walk from the hotel into the village. The room at the hotel was comfortable, quiet and clean, although the bathroom was small and the shower was a mere sprinkle. Compared with other places in France where we have stayed I thought that this hotel was rather overpriced for the facilities offered.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. It was quite small but very clean and comfortable, and very convenient for the village of Equisheim which was beautiful. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and spoke good English Breakfast was basic but very acceptable.

We wanted a short break to explore part of the Alsace and Eguisheim was the perfect base to do so.

Saint Hubert, Eguisheim is situated in one of the most beautiful villages' we have ever visited in France. The Hotel offered a very high standard of rooms and service which also included the use of a indoor swimming pool. We found there was easy access by road or rail to visit places of interest, in fact to much to do on one visit. We look forward to returning to this area very soon and would stay at Saint Hubert again.

Great surroundings. Vineyards are just next to the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The only suggestion I would give is to update the location direction on venere website. It is not correct and it made us get lost from A35 for about an hour.

We enjoyed our visit very much, both to the town of Eguisheim and the hotel, and would recommend both very strongly. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of this small town, which is lively and very pretty indeed.

My friend and I found this hotel to be extremely clean and quiet. The size of the room was comfortable, which was a nice change from many cramped rooms where you can hardly turn around. The owners' recommendations regarding a restaurant, and which towns to visit on the wine road were on the mark and appreciated. The breakfast buffet had a good selection; one day had hot choices, the second day did not. Used to more cushiony beds at home, we found the beds a bit hard, but that may not be true for others. The town itself is charming, with a selection of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our visit in Eguisheim!

Thr only quality we missed was an air condition system. Although we has a suite the temperature during the night was too high. Eguisheim is a wonderful village and we will add a visit there when we travel to Europe next time. We were actually thrilled by the beautiful streets, flowers, houses and atmosphere when we walked through the village. The small shops gave us beautiful service and we enjoyed a nice coffee and cake/icecream near the church.

We visited St. Hubert for one evening. We actually thought that it was in Colmar, France. However it is actually located in a smaller village just outside of Colmar. This was a very pleasant surprise since Colmar has become overcrowded and too touristy for our taste. Saint Hubert is at the top of a hill in Equisheim and sits in the midst of a working grape vinyard. You can easily walk to the village to shop or to have dinner. Eguisheim is lovely and was not crowded even for July. Our room overlooked the vinyard and the village. The climate was cool and so we slept with the window open--no bugs. We were traveling on a motorcycle and secure parking is always a problem. However, Saint Hubert's location was perfect and parking was not a problem. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope we can return one day. Nita H. High, North Carolina July, 2006

Hotel St Hubert is an excellent choice for those looking for great atmosphere and friendly service in dreamy surroundings. Karin and Henri are great hosts and speak a variety of languages. The pool and outdoor terrace were superb and a welcome respite after walking amongst the vinyards and hillsides on a warm day. The breakfast area overlooks the town of Eguisheim (200 yards down the road) and the wineyards, which literally surround the hotel. The town of Eguisheim is a warren of winding cobbled lanes past medieval half-timbered houses, centered on a lovely square which features a medieval fountain and Romanesque church (home of Pope Leo IX). Just down the road is the popular town of Colmar and of course the entire Route du Vin thru the Alsace is littered with quaint villages, vineyard covered hillsides and stork nests!! We are already planning our next stay at Hotel St. Hubert.
