There is a construction site just across the street. It spoils your view from window and they start working very early in the morning. It was impossible to get a good long sleep.

The facilities of the hotel were excellent, and the reception staff spoke very good english. We arrived two days earlier than expected, but the hotel was still able to offer us accomodation straight away. The staff were always helpful and kind, nothing was to much of a bother for them. The pool area was always clean and tidy, and a great place to relax. The internet availablity made communication overseas easy and instant. We were exceptionally pleased with the hotel accomodation, the staff and hotel facilities and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We are a family with 2 young children. The room was clean, and was quite convenient with a mini kitchen (very useful for making baby milk) and a separation between the living area and bedroom (we could watch TV after the kids went to bed). Staff were friendly and competent. Very good location, 30 secs from the beach and 2 mins from the bars and cafes along the water front. Only complaint: there was a lot of loud building work going on while we were there (it was off-season, which maybe explains it).

Great Accomodation, seperate sleeping, great for putting baby to bed early. Wifi for internet access. Meals in the Restaurant great value and quality. Bins emptied and towel change everyday. loved the wahing up kit inc washing up liquid, sponge etc. Fabulous!

L'hotel est idealement situe pres de la plage. Notre chambre etait propre et tres bien entretenue. Les employes de l'hotel etaient tres sympathiques et competants. Les seuls petits desagrements venaient du bruit, car les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorisee, et les bruits provenant de l'hotel ou de l'exterieur etaient bien perceptibles. Mais sinon, nous avons passes 10 jours inoubliables dans cette region. Nous avions une voiture de location qui nous a ete bien utile car Vilanova est quand meme a 45km du centre de Barcelone, mais facilement accessible, et nous n'avons jamais eu de probleme de parcage, car il y avait toujours des places juste devant l'hotel. Je pense que nous reviendrons dans cet hotel! :o)

Atenea Park was a little further from Barcelona than expected, but the drive in and out from Vilanova to Barcelona was fairly easy, and parking was available close to the Ramblas- although expensive. The hotel could not provide a double bed, even though this had been booked. The kitchen facilities are tiny but adequate for snacks. The staff were extremely helpful and internet access was available for a moderate fee. Well worth staying. The beach was very close, and it was beautiful.

We were amazed at the quality of the appartments for the price we paid. They were in a superb position, quiet yet very close to the beach and to restaurants. It was very easy to travel into Barcelon from the town. We will certainly be returning!

But the price for breakfast was to expensive.

We thought the price quote Venere gave is could'nt be true. But it was! It was a terrific stay for a very nice price. It made the hunt for a house (we going to live in Spain) a lot easier.
