Nice place to stay - good position, fairly quiet. Quite small, but not really important as you don't come to Venice to stay in. Laura was very helpful and accomodating in adjusting to our change in arrival time.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend and were very pleased with the apartment. We found it to be comfortable and clean situated in a great place for getting to the touristy parts of Venice but also the more traditional areas. It was very hot when we were there and the drains were a little pongy at times. But hey this is Venice! I would recommend it.

linen was very bad, stained, thin and scratchy showing the yellow pillowsand duvet. would definately take our own next time. everything else was brilliant.

The apartment was nice and in a good location. The bathroom had a strange configuration, and felt a bit dirty. The other rooms were lovely, though, and the living room was quite spacious. The washing machine and oven didn't work, but I didn't find this to be problematic. The stove worked fine, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. I found it quite strange that we had to pay 30 additional euros for sheets and towels, though.

A simple but comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood. The bed could be firmer, but it's merely soft, not sagging. I'd stay there again, and I'd recommend it as an apartment for couples or possibly for couples with small children.

Nice and cosy, the right thing if you want the illusion of actually living there rather than just visiting. The Location is almost prefect. Near to Rialto and Marcus square but far enough fron the main tourist routes. The Appartment ist clean, nice looking and quite easily spacious enough for two People (except the bathroom which is rather small). It would also be sufficient for three People while four could sleep there but for more than a weekend it would be quite cramped. If you intend to do a lot of cooking yourself the kitchen equipment is a little bit thin but we did manage (by the way, buy your vegetables and seafood at the fishmarket near Rialto. Fantastic quality for good prices). the Appartment is on the Ground Floor but the area is high enough that it would need an extreme highwater to get wet. And the Price... It's not cheap but hey, you're in the middle of Venice.

Totalmente recomendable!

Due to fact that we left home 3 weeks prior to arriving in Venice and did not receive email, there was noone there to unlock the apt when we arrived. Otherwise location excellent altho the apt was smaller than we expected. Adequately furnished, 'cosy' but washing machine did not work and noone available to see us off premises.

It's a ground floor apartment that had obviously flooded at some point -- a very strong musty smell. Adding several air fresheners helped a great deal. Location was okay, not a bad walk, and at the end of a quiet alley. The place was probably at the low end of two stars. The clothes washer is broken -- one of our primary reasons for choosing this place was because it had a washer. Would not stay there again.

We stayed at an ideally located apartment that catered for all of our needs. We experienced not problems and had a very enjoyable stay.

This is a great little apartment and really is only about 5-10 mins walk either way to San Marco or Rialto, so you can easily come back to its calm interior after all the hordes of tourists start to get on your nerves. It's very easy to find with the help of Laura's helpful emailed directions once you've booked. It's only about 15-20 mins walk up to Fondamento Nove where the vaporetti to Murano/Burano leave from, so it really couldn't be better located. Really nice and clean, and located up a little side alley just off Santa Maria Formosa square - it's a dead end so there's no passing traffic to spoil your peace and quiet. All the local shops you can need for provisions are on the main street the alley leads on to. Only criticism would be the kitchen equipment. It really is very basic and sparse, so if you wanted to really self cater, it's limited what you could make. If Laura reads this, can I suggest a simple stove-top kettle to boil water in rather than a small open milkpan. The forks and knives are cheap and bendy and don't even stand up to cutting a pizza. These are minor things however and could be easily remedied with a few Euro. I'd have no hesitation in either returning myself or recommending it.

We had a very pleasant stay in Venice at the start of the 2005 carnival. The location of the apartment was ideal for exploring the city on foot and very handy for using the vaporetti. There were 2 of us in the apartment, so it felt very spacious, with 4 it would probably be fine too. Laura was very friendly and showed us round on arrival. I would not hestitate to recommend the property to friends, and in fact, I already have.

Lovely quiet, private apartment with a great location. Only 10-15 minutes from either Campo S Marco or Ponto Rialto, yet in a quiet, local neighbourhood away from the beaten track. The apartment was clean and comfortable and great value for money. Thanks Laura.

The apartment was wonderful. Very convenient location, and on a quiet, picturesque little alleyway. The rental could not have gone smoother - the owner was waiting for us when we arrived, the directions were excellent, and she was quite helpful in getting us oriented to Venice and the local shops, etc.. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location, adequate space. Great little apartment. One major complaint is that the bathroom was filthy especially the shower. I am not a particularly picky person either. I went out and bought some cleaner which helped a little, but I felt this was inexcusable.

This is a very nice, clean apartment in a central location and my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. There were 4 of us and it was a bit cramped at times (there is one bedroom and one sofa bed in the living room) so I'd say it would be better to have only 2 people at a time, although 4 is manageable. The owner was very nice and met us to give us the key shortly after our arrival in Venice (sadly, she has only 1 key for our entire group and it would be highly preferable to have had at least 2 keys among the 4 of us). Overall the value for the money is very good and if I ever return to Venice with my husband we would definitely try to stay here again.

about the bathroom: it is too small, old and inconvenient. All the other was terrific...

The apartment was excellent value for money- Ideally located near all main attractions and very good seafood restaurant. The directions to reach the apartment from the main waterbus terminal were very good. The group i travelled with would certainly consider staying there again

Property was a privately owned apartment, not part of a hotel as the name might have suggested. It took one hour for the owner's representative to bring the keys to allow us to enter the apartment once we had called as requested to do so - this has been communicated to the owner and an apology provided. The directions provided for finding the apartment were good and, with all those tiny alleys and streets, it was invaluable - we would never have found the property without them. We should have been better warned about the problem with mosquitoes in Venice. The first two nights were spent being attacked by them and little sleep was had by all. We purchased insect spray for the third night and slept well - possibly a spray and warning could have been provided by the owner. Otherwise the property was great. It was brilliantly located, very central to everything and was most comfortable for our family's needs. We would have no problem recommending it to anyone travelling to Venice.
