Good place to stay, specially in summer and with family. It's a bit far from major sightseens of Umbria but, instead, it's located in tme midle of the mountain, very relaxing. Rooms are large and well equipped. personal is kind. very reccomendable.

How to reach Apartment I Casali di Caicocci

By car
Coming from the South, from the A1 Firenze-Roma motorway, exit at Orte. Then take the E45 road towards Cesena. Exit and reach Umbertide (approximately 2.5 miles/4 km from the exit).
From the A14 Adriatica motorway, exit at Cesena Nord. Take the E45 road to Perugia-Roma. Exit and reach Umbertide.
Coming from the North, from the A1 Firenze-Roma motorway, exit at Valdichiana. Then take the Perugia-Bettolle beltway and exit at Passignano sul Trasimeno. Proceed towards Castel Rigone-Preggio. After approx. 9.3 miles/15 km from Castel Rigone, at the crossroads with Preggio-Umbertide, proceed to Umbertide for 3.1 miles/5 km: you will see the Casali di Caicocci gate on your left.
From Umbertide, stay on the main street that crosses the town and, after 0.3 miles/4.82 km from the historic city centre, turn left at the second underpass following the signs to Preggio-Passignano (before reaching the underpass you will see signposts for the Farm Home). Continue on the SP142 road for 6.5 miles/10.5 km: you will see the Casali di Caicocci gate on your right.
