Excellent choice for those with transportation wishing to stay in the country & away from a big city. Not fancy but comfortable, well equipped other than no microwave. Very friendly & helpful proprietor. All in all a nice place and a fair value.

The owners were very welcoming; excellent directions to the property; more than the basics in the fridge - very welcome after a day on the road. Lots of extras (stuff to borrow for the beach,chairs, sunshades etc; use of washing machine). We were a couple travelling together, no children but this would a fine place to come with them.

How to reach Apartment Fontana Calda

By car
From Messina, take the A18 Messina-Catania motorway, then proceed on the A19 Catania-Palermo motorway, and exit at 'Caltanissetta'. Then follow signs to Agrigento and Sciacca.

By airplane
From Palermo airport: follow the Motorway A 29, direction MAZARA del VALLO,
until the exit CASTELVETRANO.
You'll take the highway ss115 at Castelvetrano in direction of
Agrigento/Sciacca. Arriving at Sciacca, always on the highway, you should
take the LAST!!!!! exit for Sciacca (= AFTER THE TWO TUNNELS!!!!). Take the
right and go forward until the sign to Monte San Calogero( = two times
right....INTERSPAR). You follow approx. 2 km, always straight on the road Aldo Moro. At
the cross road, you don't have to follow the road to San Calogero, you
should go straight on. After 1 km, you see a repair shop SCOMA at the right
side. Continue this street. After 200 meters you will see a black, open
gate. There you turn right and you just will see the house.
The direction coming from AGRIGENTO:
You'll arrive at SCIACCA at the SS 115 Agrigento - Sciacca. Arriving at
Sciacca, always on the highway, you should take the FIRST!! exit for Sciacca
and then like from Palermo.
It's easy to find us, because you don't have to enter into Sciacca centre.
