About Apartamentos Okendo

exterior The apartments are located on the top floor of a building originally designed for office use in the centre of San Sebastian.There is a lift to all floors.
The location of the building is second to none – a stones throw from the María Cristina Hotel, the most luxurious in all the San Sebastian which plays host to the visiting stars during the annual San Sebastian film festival. From its central location, the apartment is within reasonable distance of any part of the city.







Heading left upon leaving the building leads to the ‘Avenida de la Libertad’ (or ‘Avenue of Freedom’) which is the business and commercial heart of the city. Continuing down this avenue also leads to the ‘Paseo de la Concha’ and the world-famous ‘La Concha’ beach. The streets leading off from the ‘Avenida’ take us into the city’s main shopping district and from there to the ‘Plaza del Buen Pastor’ or ‘Square of the Good Shepherd’..



The ‘La Concha’ beach is the focal point of the city – a stroll along the beach takes us directly to one of the city’s other two beaches: Ondarreta. Alternatively, Ondarreta beach or Mount Igeldo are accessible via a short bus ride from the properties and the bus stop is literally on the apartment’s doorstep.

The décor has a local theme to it, full of charácter and undeniably providing an authentic experience of the gastronomic capital that is San Sebastian.



The apartments are located on the 6th floor of a centrally located building and, together with our office, occupy the whole of this floor. Each apartment comprises a lounge/dining area with open-plan kitchen, a separate bathroom, bedroom and a spacious balcony.

The adjacent position of the apartments means that one of the bedrooms is ‘interchangeable’ between the two properties, so that we are able to offer the ‘Chillida’ apartment as a studio apartment at a more economical rate, and the ‘Kursaal’ apartment as a two-bedroom apartment.
