Nice location close to everything - metro and RER a 100 metres away - and there's a small balcony for evening drinks. Make sure you call before hand to arrange a time to meet the owner outside as you can't get in without the key and they don't live on site

Terrible experience. Drove to Paris and booked this apartment on basis of free parking stated on Venere. Nobody greeted us when we arrived, nor were we communicated to that nobody would be there. Lucky i had the phone number with me and rang the owner who gave me the code for the front door and told me where she left the keys. The keys weren't there. Waited 1 hour for someone to drop them off, then told no free parking so had to pay 50 euro for the 3 days in a nearby public park. Accommodation is nice and in a fantastic location, but for the money you are much better off in somewhere that is actually staffed/has better service.

Great location! A few minor inconveniences: - 2 light bulbs burnt out (1 was fixed on request, the other not); - washing machine leaked onto floor (not to worry, this is Paris after all); - the security code to open the street-level door was changed half-way through our stay, and we were not notified; fortunately another resident helped us out, or else we would have been locked out. This is a good apartment for 2 people, but would be very tight for 3 or more. Free unsecured WiFi was detected by standing outside on the small balcony, but don't rely on this!

Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodation. Its location is excellent for exploring Paris. It is right in the Latin Quarter and so there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. It is very close to the Metro and RER station. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children and we stayed for 4 nights. The apartment was just big enough for us. There is one double bed and a fold out sofa that the children slept on. The website describes the apartment well and as previous comments state, it has recently been refurbished. The main room now has laminate flooring. Still no shower curtain though. There were basic cooking facilities, but apart from breakfasts, we did not eat in the apartment. The communal areas are a bit unwelcoming, but this is fairly normal for Paris residential buildings. The few residents we came into contact with were quite friendly. The owner does not take credit cards, so we had to pay in cash. However, she had e-mailed us the week before to let us know this and finalise arrangements. I am so glad that we chose this apartment rather than a hotel as you get so much more atmosphere. I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

There were no wine glasses provided (but we left 2 - so there are now!). More towels, and a tea-towel for drying crockery would have been good. But overall a very nice apartment. Nicer than the photos on the website. But not for those for whom quiet nights are important (although the windows are double glazed and cut the noise right down).

Kitchen was well provided with all types of utensils. Location very central. Double glazing really kept the night-time noise to a minimum, considering it was on a very busy tourist street. We stayed as 3 people and it was a good enough size. Bathroom recently renovated, still need to add a shower curtain. An electrical problem meant we could not stay in the apartment upon arrival, so we were taken to a nearby and perfectly adequate hotel. We would stay here again. But probably best for a couple.

The apartment is a bit run-down and could use new carpet, some work in the kitchen & more lighting. Small if accomodating 4 people. Very good location though. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral & 2 blocks away from Metro station. Lot's of different restaurants in the area and very lively area at night.

Photographs on venere don't really do it justice. Was a nice apartment, a little small for four adults and an infant as just one room plus bathroom. No microwave which made a little hard with infant's bottles, but we got past it. Great location in Latin Quarter with restaurants and shops surrounding. We walked to most of paris attractions from here. A little noisy at night to sleep as restaurants below can get a bit rowdy. No air-con so hot in summer and windows open made noise worse. All in all, well worth the money, but probably just for a couple, not more as not enough room.

the apartment looks perfect at first glance. but as u look over the couch and bedsheets, you can actually find some stains on the bedsheet for example. besides that, the apartment was furnished well and the location is quite strategic as it was very near to almost everything you need as a tourist i.e food, metro, and buses

We were 2 families travelling together and therefore booked to apartments for 2 families of 4 each. The owner of the apartments provided one apartment for 4 and one for 2. She advised she thought we were a party of 6 not 8. We were very unhappy and felt we were being deceived. My family stayed one night instead of 4 with the kids sleeping on the floor. Fortunately we found accommodation nearby as the location is great. Users of this accommodation need to check and double check with the owner that the right accommodation is being held. She also sent me an email the day before our arrival that she only accepted cash and no credit cards. As we had been travelling for 2 weeks already we never received the email. Consequently we had to come up with a large amount of cash very quickly. Again, very disappointing.

We really enjoyed our stay for a whole week in this apartment, even if the bed was a bit hard and the flat a bit small. For a family of four with two children of age 12 and 15 it was big enough but for four adults it’s probably a bit small. As for the price it seems reasonable, especially related to the location in Paris. The owner was kind and helpful. Make sure to call her in good time to announce the time of arrival to get the keys to the apartment. We got two sets of keys and were shown the apartment minutes after arriving Rue de la Harpe. The main reason for the successful stay was the fantastic location and surroundings. The flat it self has a charming view from its balcony and the address seems to be in the middle of everything. Near to the central Metro and RER (train) station St. Michel and walking distance to Notre Dame, Musée d'Orsay, Louvre, Rue Mufftard, Sorbonne University, Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg to mention something. Tip: If coming from the airport, taking a taxi is the best way to travel to the apartment (nearly the same price as the train). We took the RER when arriving and there was a lot of carrying of heavy suitcases up and down stairs in the Metro system. Not a big problem but taxi is a far more convenient.

The possibility to make your own meals and the location in the center of Quartier Latin suited as well. We will be back to Paris and maybe to this room.

The apartment is nice but the furniture are old and a little wasted. The location is very good, because metro is close to the street, and you can go to Notre Dame on foot. The owner of the apartment is very kind. In conclusion it is a good choice for a short stay in Paris for two people.

For an appartment advertised for 4 people we found it to be very small. It was also not equiped for 4 people with the owners needing to bring extra blankets etc very late at night and then there still wasn't enough. They obviously did not know much about the booking as they made us wait for one and a half hours on a street corner while they searched for a couple, rather than for a group of 4 as the booking had been made. However, the appartment was extremely well located, being very central with great restaurants and shops in the area as well as many important sight seeing locations. For location, it could not be beaten, for size, facility and service, it was not value for money. (Car park problem again - expect to pay another small fortune for underground car parking on top of the price).

The apartment is in a great area and a good value, but not too well maintained. The owner seems unreliable - promised to correct the deficiencies (broken mirror, missing microwave), but failed to do so in 15 days. The weekly cleaning was done well, though.
