Ideal little getaway if you want to avoid large tourist areas. We loved the little town of Marina della lobra (1km from downtown Massa Lubrense). Just a few steps away from the harbour, where we rented a boat, Bus and train to Pompeii was really convenient. No AC, but fan in the bedroom, and shutters for the windows, apartment is facing north so fairly cool. Washer works nicely. Kitchen adequate for full meals. No microwave. Bathrooms small but updated. Beds were good. Linens from the hotel were nice. You may use the facilities (pool, etc) at Hotel central, which is a bonus. Quietness (5/10) was only disrupted by renovation work in the house across the street.

How to reach Apartment Casa Antonella

By car
From Roma-Napoli highway in direction of Napoli, follow the indications to Penisola Sorrentina and exit at Castellamare (the exit after Pompei) following the indications to Sorrento. Before entering Sorrento you will find the Central hotel, at 250 meters on the right side.

By train
From Naples train station, take the Circumvesuviana line that runs every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 10.30 p.m., from Naples to Sorrento. It takes about one hour and the cost is about €3,50 per person.

By bus
From Rome Tiburtina train station a bus to Sorrento leaving at 3 p.m is available (only on workdays) and the ticket costs €15,50 a person (a bus leaving at 7 a.m. is also available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

By airplane
From Naples Capodichino airport take a bus to Sorrento; it takes about one hour and costs about €5,00 a person.
