This is a beautiful apartment in the heart of the old town, surely the perfect place to stay in Lyon. Restaurants and many of the main sights are at the doorstep (also a supermarket, bakeries and delis), and the whole town is either in easy walking distance or it's a short walk to the tram stop. Our host went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had, for example, where to park and directions to particular shops and towns outside Lyon. We hope to return one day!

We had a lovely stay and the apartment is great. It can be a little noisy at the weekend but that was mainly due to opening the windows because of the heat. Might be worth getting a fan for the apartment.

The building is charming and the apt is very nice. But it is noisy, particularly over the weekends, as it is in the heart of the tourist area. I would stay there again in the winter.
