Although we only stayed one night, we wished we had booked for the week as so ideal to use as a base for touring. Very convenient to village, 1 min walk to piazza, and markets on Sat. Directions from Monica very easy to follow, and Marzia was very helpful on arrival even though we had an extra person.V. clean and spacious, lge new bathroom, grounds gorgeous with pool and views to forest from kitchen window pretty. Would definitely stay again for longer visit.Very good value.

We stay on the room at second floor,2 rooms apt.2+2 pax. Wery charming apartment, we like too recomended this room for other persons.

It was the first time we stayed at this apartment-hotel. Although we did not need the full services provided, it is complete with kitchen accomodations and perfect for a longer stay. Ideally located near the main piazza it is at walking distance from everything in Greve (cafés, restaurants, shops, bus stop to Firenze)and provides free parking places.It is very clean and comfotable and also very quiet.

This is a great place for a family, or friends. The apartment is located right outside the town square and is convenient for driving on the wine road through Chianti. We had dinnner at Il Moro, which was a few blocks away.

This was a delightful little villa in Greve in Chianti. The little town of Greve is lovely and we were treated to wonderful markets on Sunday morning in the town square. My only concerns is that the rooms were freezing - the heating wasn't great. But once in bed it was fine. There are plenty of cafes in the town so no need to use the hotel's offer for breakfast/meals. You do need a car to get to the town and explore the area. There was ample parking but the arch way turn off was very tight. Would hate to have a big car. A thoroughly pleasant weekend.

The location was excellent for exploring the region. The town square was quaint and offered stores selling the local wares, such as wood items, porcelain, wine, and olive oil. The hotel was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Even though we arrived after reception was closed, the staff communicated with us to ensure we received the keys and were satisfied with the accommodations. We were surprised to find the kitchen area was actually well-stocked; have been to several other self-catering accommodations which required something--whether it was oil, a pan, linens for cleaning up, etc. Only complaints would consist of not knowing how to properly work the heating in the establishment, the ability of other travellers to lock the main door into the common area--was locked out by mistake several times; had to use cell phone to call room in order to be let in. The road into the hotel required a tight turn; would not recommend driving large vehicles down it--however, the parking was more than sufficient. Also, the tile flooring in the bathroom was rather chilly but our visit was in the fall and this is Italy; the Italians use tiles as their flooring. Overall, had a nice stay; location was great, staff were friendly, accommodations were nice and at a good price--although credit cards were not accepted and it can be difficult for travelers to come up with the cash. Would definitely stay again and recommend establishment to friends.

The only downside was the very wet, muddy grass of the main lawn,the mosquitoes and horse flies. Had 16 bites on one leg!! The development was in a wonderful situation just off the main square but very quiet and private (one needs to be warned about the sharp turn from the road through the archway as we had difficulty with our large people carrier). Greve is a real find - a charming small town.

According to mail from the establishment, breakfast was included in the price. After the breakfast, that was served in a restaurant 200 m from the hotel, we had to pay 5 € each to the waiter. After some discussions with the hotel staff we got the money back.
