About Apartamentos Muralla Zirí

exterior Self Catering Apartment Apartamentos Muralla Zirí exterior Boutique apartments located in the heart of Albayzín, in the city center.

Next to Plaza Nueva, two minutes walk from the main tourist attractions, bars and restaurants.

Consists of two restored buildings dating from the s. XVII and s. XIX, Casa Roja and Casa Albero, which have integrated part of the first wall of the city Granada, Ziri period of the 11th Century.

STANDARD, are located on the ground floor and includes one for disabled people with direct access by car. They consist of double bedroom, living room with sofa-bed for two, integrated kitchen and bathroom with hydro-massage shower.

UPPER STANDARD, consist of one romantic double bedroom with a jacuzzi next to the bed, one single bedroom and bathroom with hydro-massage, to access is necessary pass by the single bedroom. On the lower floor, not directly connected, is the kitchen and it has no lounge.

SUPERIOR, they have one charming double bedroom, lounge with sofa-bed for two and balcony with flowers and integrated kitchen. It can have large bathroom with shower or bathtub, both with hydro-massage shower.

EXECUTIVE, are composed of one dreamy double bedroom, some with circular bathtub next to the bed, lounge with sofa-bed for two and balcony with flowers and integrated kitchen.
If the bathtub is not next to the bed, the bathroom has a large hydro-massage shower. Some with views of the Alhambra.

PENTHOUSE, with private elevator access. All exterior, lounge and a private terrace with the best views of the Alhambra, Generalife and Sacromonte.

In the mezzanine level, with glass floor, a bedroom with double bed where you lie watching the Alhambra. On the main floor, one double bed bedroom with jacuzzi and one single bed bedroom.

Fully equipped integrated kitchen. Bathroom with hydro-massage shower and a guest toilet.

The rate includes: Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels changed every three day, and bathroom amenities.

The person who welcomed us got off to a poor start...which, in her defense, she tried to make up for. The wine we pre-ordered was forgotten...so the white was not chilled upon our arrival, the red was totally forgotten. More importantly, we ordered a guided tour of the Alhambra...this was totally missed...we could not get a guided tour during our stay. We did tour the Alhambra on our own and it is magnificent, guided tour, or not. The location of this apartment is fantastic for sightseeing...but do plan to take public transportation once parked. The streets become extremely narrow in spots and are like a maze. In your own car, you are the rat. The parking at this apartment is non-existent...plan on 25 euros a day and a 5-6 block walk after unloading you bags...we had a 3-4 flight haul with no elevator. There is a nice public deck to view the area and even grill food...the kitchen was very well equipped. I can not speak enough about the beauty of Granada and the close proximity of this apartment to it. To find the apartment make sure you follow the owners instructions. He knows what he is talking about and can save you a lot of money on side damage to your rented car.

We had a very pleasant stay at this apartments. We were offered a higher class apartment as they were not going to be occupied that weekend. Service is good and location is great, though parking is not easy in the surrondings. After booking with them I was sent an email saying that reception is only opened from 10:00 to 18:00 and coming or leaving at other times will be charged with 15€ more. We arrived at 19:00 and were not charged anything extra but better checked with them in advance about this.
