The apartment was very spacious. We were aware of 4th floor and no elevator- not a problem. Amenities were not there, ie no laundry detergent for washing machine, no coffee, sugar, paper towels. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Transportation to and from the airport which was supposed to be included, along with internet, did not exist. Air conditioning did not operate for more than 18 minutes at a time, no breeze, since in a courtyard, very hot in July. The second night with a portable air-conditioner, was even worse. The electricity in the apartment went off at 4am, and we were unable to get electricity back on. Cold showers, no breakfast, or coffee. It was a disaster. I would only recommend this accommodation in cooler months, not summer. The local staff was very friendly, and tried to help.

I have many complaints about this hotel. First of all they gave the wrong phone number for me to call and I was unable to reach them. We waited in the train station for nearly 4 hours when they finally called me (I had emailed my phone number to them). In the description of the hotel they had promised to pick us up at the train station but they did not do so and I had to pay for a taxi. We were supposed to get Suite 11 which was near the Pitti palace but that apartment was taken and they gave us a room which was much farther away. I was very disappointed with this hotel and I would not stay here again.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the lodgings are available from 2 p.m until 8 p.m. Later arrivals, subject to an extra charge, are to be communicated.
Check-out: midday.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To finally confirm your reservation you have to make in advance a bank deposit of 30% of total amount. In case of no show or late cancellation, the cost of the total amount of the stay will be charged on your credit card. However, you will be given a reservation voucher valid for 5 years to stay in any lodging in any season.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 10 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
