Surrounded by tree-lined streets and green stretches of well-kept lawns, the Alba Executive Apartments provide deluxe 5-star Edinburgh apartments, great for family holidays in Scotland. With all the tranquillity of the suburbs, yet with Edinburgh city centre only a pleasant walk away, this area is a strategically wise choice and one of outstanding architectural beauty.
Situated in a traditional Victorian Coach House, an impressive 19th-century Villa and a group of quaint Cottages, the Alba Executive Apartments offer tourists, business guests and families an enviable choice of luxury accommodation in these unique buildings. Families find the apartments particularly suitable, as they are very spacious and surrounded by gardens and play areas for children. Even the family pet can come along too, although the staff must be contacted in advance.
Although guests enjoy the utmost privacy, there is also a housekeeping service for guests on longer stays. The staff also offer a dry cleaning collection service and can arrange theatre tickets and restaurant bookings, access to leisure clubs, private dining facilities, as well as personal trainers.

The Alba Executive Apartments consist of 9 self-catering apartments and rooms, each of which offer very high standards of interior decoration and furnishings, despite the fact that each one has its own very distinctive feel.
The two luxury apartments, which sleep up to 8 persons, occupy the upper and lower floors of The Villa - a Victorian town house possessing that sought after grandeur favoured by Edinburgh's wealthy Victorians. Other apartments are situated in the 6 traditionally-built Mews Cottages, each of which has its own garden and sleeps up to 7 persons. The delightful Coach House sleeps up to 2 persons and retains the charming character of the original 19th century building.
Such prestigious accommodation also comes with a comprehensive range of amenities, including a plasma-screen colour TV, free wireless Internet access, DVD player and radio/CD player. The kitchen also comes equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and ironing facilities. A hair dyer and a direct dial telephone can also be found within all of the apartments and rooms.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of 8 and it was plenty of room for all of us. My only complaint would be that it is about a ten minute cab ride to downtown Edinburgh but the accomodations were worth it!

How to reach Alba Executive Apartments
By airplane
From Edinburgh Airport: on exiting the airport, take the first exit at the roundabout and continue along Glasgow Road (A8). When you reach Gogar Roundabout, take the third exit onto the A720, the Edinburgh Bypass. Exit at Lothianburn Junction (for A702 City Centre, Carlisle) and then take the second exit for the city centre. After around 2 miles (3.2 km), take a right turn into Comiston Road and then into Cluny Gardens. Turn left at Oswald Road, then right at South Oswald Road and continue over Blackford Avenue onto St Albans Road. The Apartments are on the left-hand side of the street. Alternately, there is an Airlink 100 daily express bus that leaves the bus station, adjacent to the terminal, every 10 minutes. It arrives in the centre of Edinburgh from where you can take a taxi or walk to the hotel.

Self Catering Apartment Policies
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the lodgings are available at any time after 3 p.m. (please note that guests must contact the property before hand in order to arrange the collection of the keys).
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the lodgings not later than 11 a.m.

made within 8 days of the arrival date are non-

Apartments office prior to arrival to arrange your
personal check in.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 8 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
