If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Dubrovnik make sure its the old town, its wonderful. Other areas aren't as classy, clean, beautiful and interesting. This apartment was wonderful too. With wooden ceilings, a large spacious room, small bathroom and kitchenette were perfect for what we were looking for. The old town is expensive for food and so we were happy to budget for breakfast and lunch in apartment. The photographs on the website don't do the aprtment justice, it is set in a much nicer location. Thankyou!x

I really loved the apartment. The room was very spacious, bright and well divided, located on the second floor (top floor). The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was very practice and clean, although small. Panorama offered by the apartment windows was wonderful: old city stretched before my eyes, I saw people on the Dubrovnik city walls, and the cathedral bells were heard. I really felt the atmosphere of the old town! However, you need some physical condition, because you went and fell over 20 stairs to reach the apartment, but the effort is worth doing!

very simple, but quiet, kitchen without any comfort bathroom extreamly narrow good view you have to climb up 90 steps from stradum!

The apartment BURA is an ideal location for a CITY break. The airport shuttle bus drops off @ The Pile Gate (although you need to go to the New Bus Station in the Port area, to return to the airport), through the gate onto the Stradum - main road & then third road on the left. The ONLY downside, is that Grad Dubrovnik is built like a stadium, and from ground level, ALL roads GO UP - in fact there are no roads - just steps. Quite demanding with luggage, but a definite help for fitness & weight loss! ALL OLD City accomodation has the same problem. TONKA Bura who owns the appartment is a lovely lady, welcoming & helpful, and normally visits once a day if you need to see her.If you cannot climb steps then stay in a Hotel in New Durovnik City & travel in. A bright & clean appartment with ALL the necessities for a short self catering stay.

By public transportation
From the airport or the harbour, you can take a regular bus for Old Town. Get off at the Pile gate stop. Pile gate is the entrance to the Old town. Pass through Pile gate and reach Stradun main street or Placa. The apartment is located in Palmoticeva street 20, the third street on left side of Stradun street.
