First time in Barcelona/first time in this appartment...a little bit too noisy but very accessible (3 metro stations far from center- Placa Catalunya;if you succeed to stop the odour coming from the underground of the house through the lower part of the front door....we did it with newspapers) and you are not affected by the drainage of the bath tube (which cannot be cleaned by usual means)and you are all day away visiting, well, it's OK.

We rented two apartments Sol 1 and Sol 2. The photos that you find attached are referred to SOL1 that is a little bigger. The state of SOL2 is good, but we found several problems on SOL1. The parquet floor is in the state you see in photos. After showering, we saw that went out water from the floor in the living room. We tryed to contact the manager, even with SMS, (he speaks only Catalan) but we were only contacted the day after. When we pointed out the problems that we found,he has minimized and he never made us pay for 30EURO final cleaning. Want some advice? When booking, ask specifically to stay in SOL2. 1)If you go to Barcelona by car, parked in a parking fee and then go home, it is impossible to park nearby. Bring cash money because the player of credit cards is not working. When the guy gives you the keys of the apartament, check with him that all the towels are clean and all is OK and only at this point pay. Paying 100 euros per night for this apartment in conditions where we found ourselves, I think a robbery ... but if they were solved the problems described ... Good vacation.

A really nice place that would be AMAZING if it was clean!! Great location, Gracia is a lovely area. Staff were so kind and patient.

L'appartamento è carino, spazioso e attrezzato, si trova in una zona ricca di negozi e bar e vicinissima alla metro... unica pecca: la mancanza di finestre! ce n'è una per camera e una in cucina, ma sono troppo piccole rispetto alle esigenze della casa.. morale: c'è puzza di chiuso quando si entra ma in fondo "agli odori di casa" ci si abiutua in fretta e, come in ogni viaggio, ci vuole sempre un pò di spirito di adattamento. Insomma, se siete un gruppo di amici senza troppe pretese che va a Barcellona per stare tanto in giro e se ne frega delle stanze a 5 stelle questo appartamento va più che bene:ci si sta tranquillamente in 4 e si dividono le spese! P.S. il proprietario ci ha chiesto 30 euro perchè siamo arrivate all'1 di notte.. ma ci ha permesso di restare oltre l'orario del check out il giorno della partenza.

Clean, naked, cheap, ok. But almost no water pressure prohibited my girlfriend from washing her hair (went to a hairdresser instead). It is also not recommendable to flush the toilet before you intend to take a shower. Unless the intention is to do it 15 minutes later. And then expect to use a long time to get water all over you.

L'appartement était vraiment très sale et nous avons été très déçus par cela. Nous avons pris des photos que nous voudrions pouvoir envoyer car nous avons du payer 30€ à notre arrivée (non précisé sur le site) alors que le logement n'avait pas été néttoyé depuis très longtemps!!!!! C'est honteux!

The location is exelent but this apartment could host only two persons not four as it is announced on the website. The rooms are small. The bathroom is very narrow and the shower with very small tub and the curtain around is intended to be for the child. We stayed in barcelona four days and during this period of time our towels have been not changed at least once in spite of the payment for the cleaness of the apartment.The rest was very good. We never forget this visit to barcelona

Generally, room is good except bathroom that is very small you should really give a good fight with the bathroom curtain not to let the bathroom floated. Also balcony has not a good view and it was not clean. The place is well located close to plazas and Fontana metro station only 3 minutes walk. if you are not looking for luxury place, we recommend it and enjoyed staying there.

Apartment is well located in a popular neighborhood and near metro. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc. It is a third floor walk-up. At times, the nighttime street noise was a problem but this is solved by closing the windows. Apartment is air conditioned. VERY small shower but you get used to it!

my room was very small-particulary the bathroom- but clean.Location in Barcelona is very practical (metro station" Fontan" 200 meters from the house, on the directline to plaza de catalunya;many restaurants and shops nearby...)

The rooms were great at Apartment Sol I. I would stay there again. My only complaint was that the key for the outside door is not the easiest to use as you have to play with it to open and lock the door. I stayed in Barcelona for 3 nights. A great experience overall.

air conditioning did not work, washer/dryer had no instructions and could not figure out how to work. Very noisy street traffic and nightclub across the street. No lift and on third floor. No cable, just rabbit ears on a very tiny tv.

Sol I is located at a great location, right by the Fontana stop on Line 3, certainly a safe neighborhood. The apartment is clean and well decorated with a double bed in a room and then a futon that pulls out into another double bed in the living room. It also comes with a washer & dryer (in 1 machine) in case you need to do laundry. Three things to be aware of - first, the living room is NOT soundproof and you can hear banging and other noises from the other rooms. Second, the shower has no tub or glass enclosure to contain the water and it literally will flood the bathroom - which is why the apartment owner provides you with a mop and bucket. Thirdly, there is no phone in the room, which means that you have to call from your cell phone or pay phone to get in touch with the owner if there are problems.

This hotel is very well locate; we asked for a quiet room and was given one facing an inner courtyard. The room was warm and there was no way to adjust the A/C for cooling vs heat. It was ok, though. Very well located, excellent value for the price. Would definitely use it again.

El alojamiento es idealpor su situación y precio. Las habitaciones son reducidas, pero si el objetivo es tener un lugar para descansar está bien. La ducha es muy pequeña, demasiado pequeña. Lo único que no se indica en la página es un sobrecoste por la limpieza de la habitación de 30€, tenedlo en cuenta. Alrededor hay muchos bares y sitios para comer a buen precio, la parada de metro coge muy cerca (no llega a cinco minutos andando). Así mismo es tranquilo y se puede descansar. Si el objetivo es pasar unos días sin parar en el apartamento salvo para dormir es ideal.

In generale siamo rimaste contente, l'accoglienza è stata ottima e soprattutto c'e' stata grande disponibilità. L'unico neo i vicini troppo rumorosi e il balcone che necessita sicuramente di essere rimesso a posto.

appartamento piyttosto sporco, l'aria condizionata non funzionava,nessuna spiegazione da parte dell'incaricato sull'uso delle attrezzature.Bella la zona e ben servita da bus e metropolitana.

We appreciated air conditioning in the flat, the equipments of the kitchen (fridge, washing machine, coffee machine and even washing machine), the proximity of the city by foot, the neighbourhood, the cleanliness. The bathroom is a little bit too small : shower particularly. We spent a good time in barcelone.

The access is not very easy: there is no elevator, the stairs are a little bit narrow and the appartment is at the second floor. The living room is not very spacious, when the bed is settled for sleep you cannot use the entering door. Facilities and cleanliness are OK.It is very close to the metro and in a central area.

on the web page it was said " apartment is situated in a second floor ... It has a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, ... a double room with balcony". But the apartement is situated in the first floor and we couldn#t find a balcony or a normal window.

We had a nice stay at sol 1. Perfect for visiting Barcelona.
