Self Catering Apartment Bailén guest room apartment - double room The apartment has 2 big and nice rooms, a smaller single or double room, a big and fully equipped bathroom and kitchen with eating area. The apartment has been totally reburbished (July 2000). Brand new furniture.

The perfect solution for a family or group of friends visiting Barcelona. Excellent for business trips.
Double bed room: with balcony, large, plenty of natural light. Large and comfortable double bed. Independent AC and heating. Parquet, nice ceilings.
Large and very nice room, that can be used as a living room and a sleeping room. Featuring a "balcony-gallery", typical of houses from the beginning of the century. Equipped with 2 sofas-bed (sleeps 4), and other furniture. Color TV, Hi-Fi music equipment (CD, tuner, tape), AC and heating.
Besides we provide lots of information about Barcelona, Catalunya (guide books and maps), its culture and cuisine, so you can use them for free during your stay.
Single room. Sofa-bed for an extra couple. Can be used as a single room or a double room if needed.
A cot for babies is also provided.

l'appartamento non è distante da placa catalunya, ci si arriva in 15 minuti. il personale è stato disponibilissimo. il quartiere è tranquillo.

Appartment Baillen 68 is located in a classic building in a reasonable part of Barcelona.The appartment however is a great dissapointment, it is sparsely furnished, and the cleanliness of the bedding and furniture is highly questionable.For the money I am sure that there are other better premises and even hotels would provide more value.I would not stay at the appartment again or reccommend it. The appartment needs an urgent upgrade.

The apartment was looking 'tired', e.g. the walls need painting and the kitchen (cupboards and table) were not as expected. The bathroom ceiling had been partly removed and the bathroom smelt badly of damp to the extent that it was unusual - fortunately, it had a separate shower room.

we were 5 girls(40 years) that had four great days in Barcelona. The flat was ok. Good that it had 2 bathrooms!

Excellent facilities. I would certainly book the accomodation again.Difficult to park but that is the same for the whole of Barcelona. After unloading we left our car on the outskirts and went everywhere on the metro and buses.Public transport is cheap and realiable. The only downside was the fact the website did not make it clear there was a deposit required and a cleaning charge. We did wonder at one point if it was a scam when we were contacted by the management company (Barcelona on Line I think) and was asked to fax copies of our passport and provide credit card details for the deposit. We actually paid the deposit when we arrived at the accomodation.It was returned to us when we left minus cleaning charge. I will return to Barcelona again and again. There is so much to do and see.

We all really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the spacious rooms it was not difficult at all to share the place with four teenagers. The adults could enjoy their evening in the nice kitchen and leave the living room with TV and hi-fi to the teenies. The location is an excellent starting point to explore the wonderful city of Barcelona - it is highly recommendable!

Public Transportation: If you prefer moving around with public transportation, no problem !!! At a walking distance of less than 1 minute, you'll find 2 metro lines (yellow and purple) and many bus lines, that will take you almost anywhere without transfer:: Barcelona beaches, Barri Gòtic, Port Vell and Maremagnum, Picasso museum, Macba, Parc Güell, Sagrada Família, Pg. de Gràcia, Pl. Espanya, Trade fair and congress hall and Montjuïc mountain.
