We were looking for quiet, small town away from crowds, but easy to get to city. It was perfect. 10 km to Passau, and easy to drive around in the hills and view the Bavarian Forest. Lovely.

The hotel is located in a little town named Kellberg its about 10km from Passau. I planned a visit to Passau on this trip. The owners of this hotel are very friendly. The breakfast was more than adequate. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but worth the stay. It is very very quiet at night up there in Kellberg. There is a church, restaurant and pizzeria in close walking distance. Nice place!
