It was absolutely superb, I will definitely return to this place. You get a very welcoming feel like a family guesthouse that is well-kept and the staff are most considerate, friendly and warm. The restaurant is also VERY good! Only thing is that it is remote so you need to bus to the city but Kaiserslautern is very like that.

How to reach Akzent Hotel Fröhlich
By car
From the highway A6 take the exit KL Westen, following the federal road B270 in direction of Pirmasens. After the Gelterswoog lake turn the first street left and follow the indications to Dansenberg.
By train
Kaiserslautern railway station is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Take bus line 3 and get off at the Dansenberg stop.
By airplane
Frankfurt airport is located about 100 km from the hotel.
Saarbrucken airport is about 80 km from the property.
From both airports, take the train to Kaiserslauten and proceed by bus line 3 to Dansenberg.

In summer, the award winning Bavarian beer garden invites guests to stay and enjoy a good meal of Munich veal sausages or freshly baked brezels, accompanied by a fresh glass of draft beer.
During the rest of the year, guests are welcome in the cosy fireplace room, where seasonal specialities, such as Dansenberger Brezelknödel, with mushrooms and fish dishes are served.
