The staff was partially bilingual to English and very nice. It is a good place to rest your head but unless you are a die-hard Porsche or Mercedes fan, there isn't much of anything to do in the area. Very little restaurant selection locally.

Great price for what you get in this hotel. We decided not to go for breakfast (12 euro each seemed high to us) so that made the rate even more reasonable. It was a great location for our needs - we were going to Porsche - but it's quite far out from the city centre. Staff was very kind and helpful which we appreciated, and their underground parking garage was only 5 euro a night - a bargain! The bed was actually one big bed, not two pushed together like you see so many other places. Shower stall was on the small side, but we managed. Overall, a great value for money, especially if you're there to tour Porscheplatz!

Good location. Close to train station to access the city. Rooms were very small. The kitchenette was a positive but could have been cleaner. Too expensive for what you get.

How to reach ACHAT Hotel Stuttgart
By car
From the highway A81: exit Zuffenhausen (17), then follow the indications to Stuttgart Zentrum. Exit Stuttgart Zuffenhausen/Korntal towards Porsche Werk (factory). At the second traffic light, turn left into Wollinstraße.
From the city-centre: take Heilbronnerstraße (B27) towards Zuffenhausen/Ludwigsburg. Exit Zuffenhauen/Stammheim. At the first traffic light turn right to Zuffenhausen/Porsche and change from Stammheimerstraße right into Strohgäustraße. At the second traffic light turn right into Schwieberdingerstraße and after the Porsche factory turn right into Wollinstraße.
By train
From Stuttgart main railway station take tram line 6 and get off at the Neuwirtshaus stop. Proceed along Schwieberdingerstraße and after the Porsche factory turn right into Wollinstraße.
By airplane
From Stuttgart airport: take tram line S2 or S3 to Stuttgart railway station, following from there the above mentioned indications.
