The room was great, lots of space and had a very character feel. Big downside was there was no a/c which led to leaving the window open and being eaten alive by mosquitos. The only other downside was it was very difficult to find with no signage besides the name on the buzzer which was not even on the door with the correct address.

It seems like the place is run by an academic foundation. The room was better than I expected. Basic accommodation, more like a dorm room rather than a hotel. But it was spacious even for four people. Breakfast was good, and coffee was a bonus.

It is close to San Marco's square(10 min walk)and has beautyful surroundings. The hotel its a little hard to find, I had to call the hotel the first time i arrived. The rooms are nice and clean and have a fan, and anti-mosquitoe plugs (however they are called). The price is a little expensive but any other hotel in venice will cost as much or even more. I recommend it to everyone.

Venice is expensive. This is not a hotel but a guest house and it shows. Personnel do not seem quolified to run it. Breakfast personnel are not there to see to your needs, but theirs. One day we found our room door unlocked. It is not so easy to find. Breakfast is good but not varied. It certainly is not worth 120 euros.

This hotel is fairly good for its price in Italy, especially Venice. The room was clean and well-kept, but the furniture was a bit falling apart (the bed frame...) even though it looked brand new. A problem was that, on the top floor, hot water pressure was very weak. Another problem was heating which was not tunable, so the room was either cold or hot, hence very dry, which did not go well with my nose. The staff was very nice in a strange way: instead of promising to correct problems and not do anything, they said that they could not do anything and then worked (to some extent successfully) on the problem! So they did improve this heating problem after all. The 10am checkout was a tad early and buffet breakfast was just OK (and a bit stressful the last day when all the hotel came at the same time in this cramped breakfast room). All in all, I think you can find much worse places in Venice and the location is really excellent.

I was very impressed with the hotel, we were staying in three and I was amazed when I entered in my two-floors room. All the furniture seemed brand new and the spaciousness was enough for a 10 person commitive. Bathroom was perfectly clean. Location is great, we were right beside to Ponte dell'Accademia. I would definetly recommend, and come back to this hotel.

I highly recommend this estabishment. It is very good situated, in front of the Accademia bridge. It was very clean. The breakfast was ok, but there are only sweet things to eat. The only problem was the heat. We could even not sleep. There was only a little ventilator and no air conditioning. But that is very usual in Venice.

I cannot expect a better one. Highly recommented.

The place is essentially a dorm, with only single beds that were uncomfortable. The rooms are big, clean and well-heated. Breakfast is fairly good. The place lacks charm but is a good value and well-located. Not a very romantic choice, but good for the single budget traveller.

The hotel was very nice and located right next to a traghetto stop. Quiet location and within a reasonable walk to sights. I highly recommend to stay here.

Selected this hotel for a single night in Venice between a few days in Rome and a return flight to the US. Although there was no A/C, the oscillating fan with the open windows (and the shades down to prevent mosquitos from entering) allowed us to get a good night's rest. There were two separate beds (as in the hotel photos), which can put a damper on enjoying this city for a couple. We did find a scorpion on the shower curtain which freaked us out to the extent of not taking a shower on the morning of the departure. The person at the checkout could not speak English, so we were not able to convey this to him in our hurry to get to the airport. Good thing too -- it got us to the vaporetto stop earlier than planned and we found that there was a local public transportation strike. I was dissapointed that the hotel staff had not warned us. If so, we'd have requested a private taxi. Luckily the location on Accademia bridge is close to several hotels. There was someone else who had ordered a private taxi to the airport, and was willing to share the taxi with us.

Our night at this hotel was awesome! I was traveling with my college age son and daughter. We had trouble finding it, but when we did (at 11:30 pm) , it was well worth it! The location was great and the staff was very welcoming! Elena, the young women at the front desk in the morning was very helpful. We wanted to stay an extra night but they had no availability. She offered to look for another room for us, and quickly found another wonderful place. She called the other hotel for us, made a reservation and they were ready for us when we got there! Our stay in Venice was wonderful, much in part to Elena! (spelling may not be correct)

Location excellent, and rooms quite large. Be careful of the address on this site - the actual street address is different and finding the place can be confusing. Breakfast was just ok, and with only one person to serve, very slow and chaotic. Courtyard was noisy from people in other buildings. We had trouble checking out - a sign on the desk said "no credit cards" and when we asked about it, we were told we could still pay that way, since we booked online. When we went to check out, the clerk at that time didn't know that, and was at first unwilling to let us. When we threatened to leave because we had no cash to pay, he had to call and find out how to use the authorization machine (which was hidden away). It was not a pleasant experience. However, we would stay there again, due to price and convenience.
