From A1 Firenze-Roma highway, take the exit Bettolle-Valdichiana. After the toll-booth, turn right and follow the indications to Perugia, exit at Castiglione del Lago and turn right towards Cortona (SS 71). Pass the towns of Terontola and Riccio, then turn right to Ossaia. After Ossaia, at the T intersection, turn right for Mercatale (SP 35). After 4 km, exiting the town of Pergo, turn right for Villa di Piazzano.
