The Flaminio Village Hotel is a nice little place a little ways out of town, but easily accessible via public transportation and a short walk. It consists of a combined camping, RV parking, and "bungalow" village. The bungalows are small "mobile homes" that have been converted quite nicely, and comfortably, into rooms with a private bath and entrance. Walking distance could be a problem for some. The hotel is located a short walk - about five minutes - from the public train stop, or the public bus stops right in front of the hotel. Once you are at the hotel there is another short 5-10 minute walk to your room, though several times during our stay we were offered a ride on one of the hotel golf carts. The breakfast buffet is excellent - the only complimentary breakfast we had in Italy which had eggs! It included eggs, fresh fruit, bread, doughnuts, pastries, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juices, milk, etc. This was truly the best breakfast during our entire stay. The on-site restaurant is nice, economical, and the staff are very friendly. Note they have a special which includes anything on their "Pizza" menu, wine (or water/coke), and dessert for 10 euros, but you have to ask for it. We ordered the same thing, not knowing about the special, and were charged normal menu prices. Pool - very restrictive hours. Said it was open until 8PM, but was closed by 7:15PM. We never did get to check it out, but it looked nice through the locked gate! They don't have free internet access, but their rates were VERY reasonable compared to everywhere else we stayed. I think it was 3 euros for 3 days! Tip: Hotel can't give the best rates - book online! Tip: Buy the multiple day Rome Transportation (bus/train/metro) tickets or the Roma Pass which includes 2 museum entrances!

Nice camping environment right at the door of the city. Everything OK, except for the bed, which is a bit unconfortable.

had a great time whilst there, but the major road that needs to be crossed to get there from the station seriously needs some attention-you take your life in your own hands! that was the only thing we had to moan about really.the air-conditioning was very gratefully received, and when we had a problem with some plumbing the plumber came to fix it before my husband arrived back from reporting it! talk about prompt!! the only problem we had with noise was the fact that some improvement building work was being carried out,but it wasn't a major problem. also the shuttle service from reception to room could be advertised a bit more obviously,as in the heat its a bit of a treck, but thats just a little niggle.the pool was lovely and had a good time in the restaurant on site. would love to re-visit!!!

We rented a "bungalow" which was not more than a kind of portocabin, almost like the inside of a caravan, but dry and very clean. If you are willing to pay more there are bigger bungalows for rent. What we never expierenced before that in the fridge were a lot of drinks and all for free. The camping is not far from the trainstation from where you can go to the center of Rome.

The rooms where not as stated ie fully equiped no kettle cups ar even a chair however when complaining we where upgraded to a larger but older bungalow. It was a lovely and well kept site good breakfast but a long walk to the gate and you took you life in your hands to cross the road to the train station. I would stay there again.

It was NOT 15 Minutes to town! It took 30 minutes by train (+ wait time) and a long hour by bus. The heat fan was faulty and is right next to wall of room. It made a noise like a jet taking off every 10 minutes, we did not sleep well if any, who could?

An absolutely wonderful place to stay outside of the busy and expensive downtown. The trip out from the Stazione Termini in Rome takes about 30-45 mins (including the walk to the village entrance from the Due Ponti station), but the entire thing can be done by either train or bus and the serene setting and quality facilities are worth the trek.
