Difficult to find. We found the hotel only with the help of GPS. No sign of the front door, the note of the bell is broken. These are negative, everything else is OK. Well furnished clean rooms, good breakfast, served in the room, polite staff, excellent price, great location.

Très bonne situation, près du Campo de'Fiori et de tous les sites importants. Chambres propres, salle de douche moderne et fonctionnant bien. Le problème majeur est que les chambres sont petites, et, pour celle que j'ai eue, minuscule. Comme il n'y a pas non plus d'espace commun, c'est gênant quand on veut faire une pause en cours de journée de tourisme. Il faut aussi signaler que l'hôtel est aux 2ème et 3ème étages, sans ascenseur. C'est banal dans Rome, mais il faut le savoir, et adapter ses bagages. Autre problème, l'hôtel n'est absolument pas indiqué, sinon par une sorte de carte de visite en regard de la sonnerie. Les gens cherchent et tournent sans trouver. L'hôtel devrait donner systématiquement des indications très précises, pour venir à pied, ou en taxi, ou en voiture, car le plan est trompeur (toutes les rues paraissent d'importance égale). Or on est à 100 mètres du Ponte Sisto, qui est facile à trouver ou à se faire indiquer. En résumé, la situation de l'Hôtel est excellente, ce qui compense l'exiguïté des chambres, mais à condition que le prix soit plutôt bas.

The hotel is located perfectly in the centre on walking distance of the monuments. It is nearby Trastevere where the local italians eat. The staff is friendly. Italian breakfast (juice/croissants/toast/tea) is served in the room. The hotel itself was hard to find; it is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of an apartment building. There is no elevator to the rooms which are located on the 2nd/3rd floor. The aircondition should have worked a bit harder.

By train
From Termini Train station, take Bus num- 40 or 64 . Get off at Largo argentina. Cross the road and walk straight on Via Arenulla until you find Via dei Specchi, turn right, continue straight on for 50 meters and you'll find Via S. Salvatore in Campo on your left. Turn left and walk to building 38.

By airplane
From the airports, take the Bus Terravision and get off at Via Marsala. Go to the Bus station infront and continue to proceed with public transportation.

By public transportation
Take Bus number 40 or 64 from Termini Train station. Get off at Largo argentina. Cross the square and walk straight until you find Via dei Specchi, turn right, continue straight on for 50 meters and you'll find Via S. Salvatore in Campo on your left. Turn left and walk to building 38.

Domus Ester is located in a traffic limited zone. Cars may enter only after 18.00 o'clock. Otherwise you can enter from the back street, Via delle pettinari and park at a garage that has special prices for our clients.
