The hostel is located within a 5-minute walk from the Anděl underground stop (line B), and it takes 10 minutes to get to Malá Strana, from where you can proceed to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and all the other sights of the Czech capital.

Located near Bertramka, a place where W.A. Mozart stayed, during his visit to Prague, the Hostel 5 is a perfect accommodation for backpackers, and for budget travelers in general, who do not mind a short underground ride to get downtown.

The hostel offers guests free parking lots in a locked yard, a common room with TV and kitchen, where breakfast is served in the morning, an Internet point, and free wireless Internet access.

How to reach Hostel 5

By car
From Karlovy Vary and the Teplice Airport: keep following Karlovarská Street, then turn left on Slánská Street. After 1.3 miles/2 km turn left on Plzeňská Street. After about 4 miles/6 km along Plzeňská Street (later Vrchlického Street), you will see the Mövenpick Hotel on the right side. Turn left around a block of flats to get back on Plzeňská Street (tram line) and the first entrance on the left around the corner is the Hostel 5.
From Plzeň (Rozvadov): follow the connection Rozvadovská Spojka until the end. Then stay on the right to get to Bucharova Street. Go downhill and at the crossroad, turn right to get on Plzeňská Street. After about 2.5 miles/4 km along Plzeňská Street (later Vrchlického Street), you will see the Mövenpick Hotel on the right side. Then continue like before.

By train
From the train stations: take either the underground line C from the main train station and Holešovice Station, or underground line B from Masarykova Station, and get off at the Anděl stop. Take tram no. 9, 10, or 4 towards Řepy (Kotlářka), and then get off after one stop. Go back for about 100 yards/100 meters to get to the Hostel 5.
Alternatively, you can reach the hostel, walking directly from the Anděl stop along Plzeňská Street for about 350 yards/300 meters.
