Palazzo Niccolini al Duomo is located in the heart of historical Florence, 30 mt. away from the Cathedral, in the centre of the shopping area and at walking distance from the main monuments and museums. It's origins date back to the 14th century. The great sculptor Donatello (1386-1466) had his workshop here.

Staff is present every day from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Masseur, beautician and hairdresser services, as well as multilingual guides for visits to monuments and museums or for shopping are available upon request.

Even though our room was small,we had every amenity we needed.The atmosphere was that of a bed and breakfast,with only 10 guest rooms total.The living room or "parlor",where the continental breakfast was served,was stunningly decorated in a very formal manner,with trompe l'oeil painted mouldings and beautiful artwork on the walls.The breakfast included all manner of cakes,rolls,cereal,yogurt,juice and fresh fruit.It was very substantial.I recieved an e-mail a few weeks before our trip offering to help us with tour or restaurant reservations,etc.I would absolutely stay at Palazzo Niccolini again.Oh, the location was ideal as well;a stone's throw from the Duomo and everything else in Florence.

The Palazzo Niccolini mirrors the style, elegance and beauty of Florence. The service and hospitality are beyond compare. Our stay was absolutely outstanding; we are planning to return next summer.

The photos do not do this hotel justice - it is a real little hidden jewel. The location is ideal, the rooms beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. We would unhesitatingly recommend it - (as long as there is still a room available for us when we go back!)
