About Student's Hostel Estense

exterior The Student's Hostel Estense is a three stars hostel. Now in a hightly valued building because of his old history, located in the Reinassance's area of Ferrara.
Few metres away from the most important monuments and museums in the city, like the Diamanti Palace, Estense Castle and Ferrara's Wall. The hostel is open to every traveler, specially young turism. We welcome aproximately 90 people in 19 rooms of three, four and six beds.
It is perfectly located so you can get to the main stations in a short walking distance. The hostel doesn't have any sort of architectonical barrier and it has rooms and toilets for disable.
During the winter we use a geotermic heating sistem which minimizes the enviromental impact.

Rooms at Student's Hostel Estense

double room The hostel is located in the centre of Ferrara in a building well known because of its historical value.
You will find 90 beds in our stablishment:

GROUND FLOOR: Reception/tourist office, internet point, a room to read or study, garden, bike parking, washing-drying machine, 4 shared bathrooms, 2 triple room, 1 quadruple room and two dormitories with 6 beds.

FIRST FLOOR: convention area with about 50 seats, TV/SAT room, room to read or study, 4 shared bathrooms, 2 triple room, 1 quadruple room and 4 rooms with 6 beds each.

SECOND FLOOR: room to study, 4 shared bathrooms, 2 triple rooms, 1 quadruple room and 4 rooms with 6 beds. We'll have very soon a fitness room in this floor.
Triple and quadruple room can be booked as private room aswell. Rooms with 6 beds are used as dormitorie and you can book only one bed.

All the rooms can be booked for private use paying the price of the whole room. All of them have single beds or bunks as closet, chairs, table, central heating and big windows.

All the bathrooms are outside of the rooms. They are for man, woman and disable, and all of them are shared.

Breakfast at Student's Hostel Estense

From 7:30 am to 10 am, we will prepare for you espresso, cappuccino, hot milk, jam, butter, plum cake, kellogs, juice... We serve it in the ground floor or in the garden during the summer.

How to reach Student's Hostel Estense

By car
Once you are in Ferrara (from the A13 north/south of Ferrara) go towards the central station and from here follow the indication to I Diamanti parking. When you will get to it can park the car and come out from the opposite side. Just in front of it you will see our hostel.

By train
Once you are outside of the station just take on the left handside Viale della Costituzione. After few minutes walking you will see, on your left handside again, Corso porta Po. Take this street and after some meters you will see it becomes Biagio Rossetti. We are in the number 24. (15min time)

By airplane
Guglielmo Marconi Bologna Airport: from the airport you can take the aerobus that will leave you in the station in about 20 min (5 euro).

From here take the train to Venice whiach stops in Ferrara (40 min, 3 euro)- Marco Polo Venice Airport: There's a shuttle bus that will take you to the train station in Mestre, Venice. From here take the train that goes straight to Ferrara (1.30 h time).

By public transportation
From here you need to walk down Corso Isonzo and on the right handside you will find Viale Cavour. Take it and keep on walking on the right side of it till you will get to Via Ludovico Ariosto that will cross Corso Porta Po. This street will become Biagio Rossetti and we are in number 24. (20 min tim).
