This was our 2nd time staying here, the 1st was a few years ago. This hotel is overflowing with character - the setting and the architecture are beautiful. The people are very nice, too. Special mention for the restaurant (a separate business in the same building) - the woman running it was wonderful, and so was the food! Anyone who likes individual boutique hotels should love this place. Just be aware it does not come with the over-the-top luxury level of some such hotels.

Room Details

There are 19 rooms and 2 suites in various parts fo the abbey, most of them with a marvellous view over the valley. The profound renovation has left the original charme of this benedectine abbey with its characteristic features like floors in terracotta, huge stone walls, wooden ceilings, stone -barralled vaults and gothic arches.
