About Accommodation Il Carmine

exterior Il Carmine is located on the top of Mount Erice, and it is an oasis of peace completely compatible with the history and the characteristics of the medieval town of Erice. It was a Monastery of Carmelitani friars but now thanks to a reconversion work our guests can stay in very comfortable rooms.

All our rooms are equipped with the following comforts:

By car
From Trapani (port, old town centre)
- from Via Ammiraglio Staiti go eastward for about 500 mt;
- then turn left into Via Mazzini and go straight on for about 400 mt;
- at the traffic light turn left into Via G.B. Fardella and go straight ahead for about 2,2 Km;
- at the crossroad keep on the right and go straight on for about 400 mt;
- at the traffic light turn left into Via Tenente Alberti and go straight ahead for about 200 mt;
- then turn right to go into Via Argenteria and go straight on for about 2 Km;
- then turn left into SP3 and follow the road for about 6,8 Km;
-at the crossroad go straight on along Viale delle Pinete for about 400 mt;
- then turn right into Piazza Carmine and in front of you you will see Il Carmine Hotel.


By airplane
From Palermo/Palermo airport (Punta Raisi – Falcone Borsellino):

- Take A29 Motorway towards Trapani (exit Trapani);
- at the roundabout turn right towards Erice for about 600 mt;
- at the crossroad go straight on into Strada Provinciale Torrebianca for about 600 mt;
- turn left into Via delle Tremole for about 400 mt;
- turn left into Strada Provinciale Torrebianca-Valderice and go straight on for about 200 mt;
- turn right in SP3 and follow the road for about 6,8 Km;
- at the crossroad go straight on along Viale delle Pinete for about 400 mt;
- then turn right into Piazza Carmine and in front of you you will see Il Carmine Hotel.

From Trapani Airport
- at the roundabout follow the road sign to the motorway A29;
- enter into the motorway A29;
- exit from the highway A29 at Marsala;
- then turn left to go into SS115/Strada Marsala in Località Fontanasalsa and follow the road signals to Trapani for about 7,9 Km;
- then turn right into Scorrimento Villa Rosina;
- at the crossroad turn right again and go straight on for 200 mt
- at the traffic ligth turn left to go into Via Salemi.
- after 55 mt turn right into Via Tenente Alberti and go straight on for 1 Km;
- then turn right to go into Via Argenteria and go straight on for about 2 Km;
- then turn left into SP3 and follow the road for about 6,8 Km;
-at the crossroad go straight on along Viale delle Pinete for about 400 mt;
- then turn right into Piazza Carmine and in front of you you will see Il Carmine Hotel.
