This is a great b+b and would without doubt stay there again. The transportation arrangements that are made by the owners to ferry guests to the airport and train station more than make up for the fact that the b+b is a little out of the way.

We booked two nights at the "Not Classified" Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente, as it was near to Ciampino Airport and we wanted to finish off our Italian holiday with a couple of days in Rome. Although it doesn't have a swimming pool, or some other facilities associated with a 5 star hotel as you can see from our scoring above we think it worthy of 5 stars. We could not fault anything about it and it was also close to the metro and rail station with direct access to Rome center, with a free shuttle provided.

How to reach Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente

By car
From G.R.A (Ring road) exit 22 direction Anagnina-Grottaferrata.
Go straight on for 5 km and turn on your right in Via Cavona.
After 1 km turn on your left ( corner Via dei Ciliegi).
From Ciampino Airport follow direction Albano/Marino. Take Via Appia and exit in Via dei Laghi. Cross the first level crossing. Go straight on for about 2 km and turn on your left in Via Acqua Acetosa ( second level crossing). Go straight on until the end of the way and turn right. After 100 m turn left ( Via dei Ciliegi corner)

By train
Ciampino or Sassone station.

By airplane
Ciampino Aeroporto.
